I get home, and go straight to my room. I pull out my suitcase, and start packing. I pack up all of my stuff, I'm prepared to leave. My room looks bare, and I know if I don't go with my biological family, I'm gonna run. I'll run as far as possible. I go on my computer, and log out of everything. My mom comes in, and gasps.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"Oh, mom, it's great! They're going to fight for custody of me, not that I don't love you guys with all my heart, but I have a twin and a brother," I tell her.

"Honey, no, you can't just get up and decide this. You have to talk about it with your parents," She argues, a hint of anger in her voice.

"Oh, I've already talked it over with my biological family, they said they'll work on it," I argue back.

"Shay, I meant with your foster family. The parents that have lived with you all your life and didn't abandon you," She throws me a death look, like I'm really making her mad.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I love you guys, but I really want to be with my biological family. They thought I was a still born, and left the hospital too early," I defend them.

"I'm not sure you understand that we raised you since you were 2 weeks old. We were your family. Now these people come along saying you're their daughter? Do they even have proof?" She asks, angered.

"Yes, they do. Their daughter, Shai Anne Westerman, she looks like me, she has the same last name for Pete sake!" I argue.

"Shay, you are our daughter! No matter what, you are staying in this house!" She yells and slams my door closed.

I don't know what to do, I curl into a ball, and cry. I cry and cry. First, I thought my biological family didn't like me, but now they like me and my foster family want to keep me and what do I do! I scream in my head. Then, I finally break out. I start screaming my heart out. I feel a bit better, but still scream and cry. I continue for what feels like forever, but I keep on doing it. I finally stop, because my throat gets sore. I get up, and head out the door.

I go into my bathroom, and splash my face with cold water. My face still looks red and blotchy, but I don't care anymore. I go upstairs, and into the kitchen. I fix myself some good dinner, and dig in. I decide I'm gonna run. I'm gonna pack up all my stuff, and run, tonight.

I finish dinner, and dart downstairs. I pack everything and by the time I'm done, it's midnight. I quietly go up the stairs, and into the kitchen. I pack up some food, in case I don't have enough money for fast food. I'm ready. I open the door slowly, and close it slowly. I'm off.
