It's officially summer, schools out, and we're ready for adventure. Shai and my first summer together was awesome. We did everything. From swimming, to the movies. Now, after spending 3 years together, we've run out of ideas. We still go swimming, and to the movies.
We wake up, our alarm goes off. It's still set for the school year. I get up, ready for the day. I get dressed, letting Shai sleep in. I wonder, what are we gonna do today? I go out of the room and go prepare breakfast.
*Time Skip to lunch*
"Shai! You've been asleep all day!" I shake Shai awake.
Shai groans, "And?"
"Wake up, lazy butt!" I pull her out of bed.
"I need my rest for Harvard," Shai moans, but gets up.
"Oh puh-lease, you'll get plenty of it, but it's noon!" I get clothes out for her, knowing what she'd want to wear.
"Whatever," Shai shoos me out of the room.
I walk upstairs, and start making lunch. I think about how soon, I'll be in College, with Shai. It feels like we just got out of school, and going back in. We only have one and a half months left of Summer. I finish lunch, and call down to Shai.
Shai get's upstairs and we eat lunch. We're going to be roommates in Harvard, which is going to be awesome. Even though we've been together for a while now, we aren't tired of each other, yet. I look at the calandar, and squeal.
"Shai, get ready!" I squee.
"Why?" Shai puts her plate back in the sink.
"We're going to the movies! Look at what came out today!" I pack up my purse.
"Okay, okay, but you're paying for food this time," Shai starts getting ready.
"Fine! At least you're getting out of the house," I make sure I have enough money.
Shai and I head off to the movie theater, leaving a note. I drive, knowing exactly where to go. Once we get there, I pull out my money, prepared for the food. Shai grabs a ten out of her purse, and hands it to the employee.
"Two tickets for Brave, please," Shai speaks clearly.
I still envy her bravery. Sure, some has rubbed off on me, but I'm still that shy girl, who can barely speak. I get my ticket, and go inside. I quickly order popcorn and two sodas, and we're off to watch the movie.
