You and Link returned to the domain. The sounds of Vah Ruta outside got closer before they suddenly stopped. You stood outside and watched as the beast aimed itself at the castle, a red beam traced and ready to fire at any given moment.

You both made your way up the stairs and into the room.

Ryner greeted you with a smile holding his elbow out for you to take. Grabbing onto it you both walked, well you hopped, to the King's room. The entirety of Zora's Domain stood awaiting your arrival catching you both by surprise when you entered.

Link's face was made up of many emotions. Sad, tired, angry but most importantly at peace.

"You both did well to survive your trial! I have been awaiting your return! The violent downpour has disappeared, as has the threat to Zora's Domain! It is all little more than a bad dream now. Thanks to your efforts, there is no longer any danger of a great flood laying waste to Hyrule! You both have appeased the Divine Beast Vah Ruta and thusly saved Zora's Domain. We are all truly grateful." King Dorphan thanked.

"We did our best...." you smiled up at him before seeing Muzu step forward.

Shifting your attention to him you waited to see if he was going to yell some more.

"Link... I must sincerely apologize for my harsh treatment of you." Your eyes widened in surprise, he seemed so deadest in his ways that it caught you off guard that he apologized.

" That whole time, you were thinking of Hyrule and Lady Mipha's well-being, just like the rest of us. Perhaps the older generations of Zora, myself included, misunderstood Hylians after all. It would seem so. That said, I would be overjoyed if you could find it in your heart to forgive me, if not now then perhaps one day."

Before you could speak Link nodded his head forgiving Muzu just like that. Furrowing your brows you felt like he nor the rest of the older Zoras should be forgiven, they had said horrible things.

"Link I must reward your efforts! Now then, I implore you to collect that chest over there. It was Cherished by Mipha, I would like you to have this as a token of our friendship." Muzu moved to the side showing off a chest to which Link approached.

"And dear (Y/n)" You looked up to the King a small smile gracing your face, "In the chest next to Sidon is a present for you as well."

"Oh wow, I didn't even notice it." You quietly said looking around for it having Sidon laugh at your response.

"One more thing, it seems that you're without your sword. The one that seals the darkness. Did you perhaps lose it when you lost your memory?" His sword? What sword you thought.

"What sword?" Link asks slowly.

The King sighed and chuckled. "It's a sword only you can wield. I have no doubt it's asleep and waiting for it's master to return."

Link nodded and stepped back, consumed by his own thoughts.

"(Y/n), Link, all of the Zora thank you from the depths of our hearts. And Sidon, as your father I am proud of you for fighting the Divine Beasts alongside the Champions. You have grown much recently, I know you will be a worthy heir." King Dorephan finished

Looking up to Sidon you saw as he moved to cover his face, "Father, I... I thank you." Pinching his arm you gave him a big thumbs up.

"Thank you, Link, and (Y/n). Thank you so much! Truly, I could never thank you enough!" Sidon hugged your small body carrying you over to Link where he got down on his knee and began to shake both your hands with great force.

The townsfolk all cheered and thanked you both as they began to leave the King's chambers living only you, Link, the King, and Sidon.

Finally releasing your hand you rubbed your shoulder feeling as if it had been dislocated from the sheer force Sidon had in his handshake.
