Shortly after Link left, you had gathered a very messy and complicated emotions toward whatever had just conspired, You changed into a clean outfit, as the one you were wearing earlier was now dirty and a little torn from earlier and it was the exactly the same purple kimono than the dirty one. You didn't even realize you work yourself up, let alone how much it had actually messed up your combat clothes.

Making a mental note to fix that later, you headed out of your house to make sure that everyone else in the village was okay. You were more than relieved to see the village children running around the village again, and even more relieved to note that all of them were accounted for.

And as well as checking on the other villagers, You made a point to take a stop at the shops and make sure nothing was stolen or ruined, and luckily everything seemed to be intact. Nobody seems really injured, aside from a few scratches and general fear and confusion, the shops were okay and all of the livestock and crops were also unscathed.

Which only left one questioning ringing in the air;

What did had happened that made the Yiga attack?

Are they still after you ever since you were no longer Ganon's control?

They were sometimes on the roads around here, and even though sometimes they harassed travelers for rupees and bananas, they usually left the village alone.

So what was different this time?

By the time You reached the inn again to check on Peter and Ilia, a million different possibilities had made a home in my already shaken up brain. Peter wasn't standing in his usual spot in front of the Inn, and was inside as you expected.

After all he was the one taking care of your a coma friend, Ryner.

Ryner still hasn't woken up, you wonder what's going on in his dream of his.

"How is he?" You asked.

"Still sleeping." Peter report. "Ilia is upstairs making sure nothing was touched in the rooms." He informs as soon as you walked in, and  gave him a gentle smile and nod, noticing that he was probably trying to feed Ryner some soup.

As you ascended the stairs, I heard rustling in a room with the door open, and peaked your head in to see your best friend tidying the room up. "Knock ,knock."

She shot her head to my direction, and seemed very relieved it was just me. "(Y/N). I'm so glad you're okay." Ilia pulled you into a tight hug, which you returned, extremely relieved to see her unscathed. "Did you guys get hit?"

"Never. Groose or Peter were pretty afraid but they managed to get in and behind the front desk before anything really started." You nudge your head at her answer, and looked out of the window towards the village, seeing everyone start to come out of their houses and speak to each other, likely trying to figure out what just happened, and why.

"Though the bigger question is; why would some Yiga scum attack here? They've never gone past the forest. So what makes this time different now that is?" You thought place a finger under your chin, and Ilia sighed from next to you, both of you turning the attention from the streets to each other, not knowing what to say.

At that moment, she broke eye contact and turned her eyes down your hands. "What happened to your hands?"

You follow her gave and holding out seeing blood and wince. "Damn, I thought I cleaned everything. But don't worry, I'm okay."

Ilia gave you the look of an raised brow, knowing that you were not being honest with yourself. She gestured her hand and waited for you to tell the whole truth.
