All you did the next morning was pain, both emotional and physical.

By groaning, you sat up and rubbed your neck, causing the horse shoe on  to drop off gently. You forgot what it was, until you saw the tears that stained, forcing a deep, pained sigh out of you. You placed the photos in your pocket and glanced around your room.

Feeling all of your joints pop into place and stretched, you realized that there was a blanket around you, which wasn't there the previous night. You rubbed your sore neck as you stood up, and began smelling something cooking.

You're assassination instincts began kicking in from your time killing monsters , and you searched for something to use as a weapon. Not finding anything, you settled on the small frying pan resting on the banister.

"Opportunity knocks. I'll by more swords when I had the chance." you shrugged, realizing how stupid you must look right now.

The descent the stairs with slow and painstaking, not making any noise while also trying to see who dares to decided to make themselves at home.

The back door opens.

"SURPRISE MOTHER-SUCKERS!" you charged in and pounce like a wild animal at whoever entered, hearing a girly shriek as you both hit the ground.

"(Y/N)! Stop! It's me! It's Ilia!"

You froze then blink and look closely, realizing that you were, indeed, straddling Ilia in your kitchen.

"Goodness Ilia, What are you doing here?!"

"I figured you would want breakfast! Now get off!" She pushed you off her and you didn't fight it, rolling onto the ground as she stood over you and dusted herself off. "I mean you must've smelled the eggs and beckon, you smell breakfast and yet you choose violence?"

You look down in shame and hide your frying pan behind your back fiddling your foot while Ilia stared at you incredulously.

"Well how was I suppose to know? I'm the only person who lives by herself and thought that if a cat-napper decides to break in my house and starts to steal my belongings...then I had no choice but to take precautions and fight back.   That's why I chose violence." You explain, grabbing an apple from one of the spots she had made on the dining table, only for it to be snatched out of your hand a moment later.

"Hey-"

Your protest was cut off by another stern gaze from Ilia, and a simple.

"Breakfast is almost ready. Sit."

You obliged, not having the energy to rebel at this exact moment, instead opting to place your head against your hand and let out a heavy sigh, which Ilia mirrored.

You suddenly felt a strong embrace from the side, and your head was held to your best friend's chest. "Do you wanna talk about what happened?"

You nodded, and she rested her cheek on the top of your head, before moving and ruffling your already disheveled hair a bit. "I'll grab the food, one sec." As she walked out, you took the horse shoe out and placed it on the table in front, once again glancing over the tear-stained.

Not 2 minutes later, Ilia returned to your side, placing an omelet and some simmered fruits on both of your plates, then pouring  both some apple juice. "How come you did all this? I mean I'm really grateful, don't get me wrong, I'm just confused."

"I felt like an idiot for yesterday. I'm sorry for being so forceful, I just know how lonely and upset you've been without him, and I figured I could get you excited about it when I was probably just coming off as a jerk."
