Link didn't waste time, with strong determination to save his lost partner, he rounded up Ryner and they made their way to the castle.
Little did they know that the demon king's plan had already been set in motion.
He searched high and low for you, but there was no trace of you anywhere. Needless to say, Link was getting very worried very quickly.
Link takes a few deep breaths to fruitlessly calm his nerves, his eyes glued to the entrance of the sanctum. Why does time seem to be going so fast all of the sudden? It feels like it was just yesterday when you had been in Zora's Domain taking back Divine Beast Vah Ruta. Now, their in Hyrule Castle preparing to take back all of Hyrule.
This feels much more terrifying than any of the Divine Beasts. It isn't like their about to face some type of monstrous being brought to life through some of darkest of magics.
It's a familiar face they''ll see (or at least a familiar enough face in Link's case) who was once a shy yet sweet boy; nobody to be afraid of, right...?

Like always, Ryner stand right at Link's side, his own breath audible as Ryner look to him, the two of them meeting each other's eyes, "We'll start by trying to talk to her nicely and find out where has Ganon hid her so that we know what needs to be done to convince her to com back, but we need to be calm as to not scare her off or make her see us as a threat. Hopefully she'll still see you as a friend. If she'll listen to anyone, it'll be you...I would think..."
"Right," Link said sadly, still more guiltier than now, It has long become obvious to him that it was all his fault for not being able to see you were mostly disappointed at for not being able to realized how much you loved him.
He was an idiot from the beginning for hating you and he's willing reflect his actions. It's understandable, of course.
"And we'll be ready to counterattack if worse gets worse, but only then."
Ryner nod a bit distractedly, patting a hand on his shoulder. While the brunette doesn't necessarily smile, the look in his brown eyes does enough to convey his emotions. Ryner was glad to finally have Link reflect his actions through such difficult times.
