Why is it that I love you?
You always show up out of nowhere, and stay until someone makes you leave.
You're called difficult, annoying, and ugly.
You keep coming back every year no matter what, most people go to extreme measures to keep you away.
So then why do I love you?
your beautiful petals, or your oddly shaped leaves.
You grow in the most unusual places, in cracks and shade.
You're a weed to all and no one wants you around.
But you're the simplest flower I know.
You're easy to grow in nice to have, you help people and bees.
You're a herb used in teas, tonics and help soothe pain.
Though to others you're a weed.
To me you're beautiful.
