Piper's P.O.V
After I left a small note on the bed in my cabin, I headed to the Pegasi stables. There, I discovered BlackJack, Porkpie and Guido.
After a two minute distraction of staring at the pure black winged stallion that was once acquainted with the late Son of Poseidon, I chose Guido for travels.
As I traveled through the air, it was like everything that has and will happen finally made its way into my brain.
The memories of my first quest with Jason and Leo as we made our way to the wolf house, unwilling to free the Hera. As we traveled through the states on Leo's pet and companion
Festus the Bronze dragon. Then, months later flying to Kansas to meet the wine god, I got to fly on Jason's spirit horse Tempest along side Percy's Pegasus Blackjack, the one from the stables. Was I honoring or disgracing their memories I thought to myself as I flew through the air towards the Roman camp.
I didn't get to come to that conclusion as I saw the city in bound.

Percy's P.O.V
You know, just when you think things can't get any crazier, that you have basically discovered everything the world has to offer, you get slapped in the face with a new thing.
My conscious was at a tug of war with the recent events.
That... person, could be lying, just another one of Ronan followers. One side of my myself would say, but the other 50% would argue.
But they seemed to understand more of this place, and they are really straight forward with the help.
Since when is that a good thing? Everything always came at a price or in riddles or would end up a trap. How can after six years of a half blood life something or someone actually be direct.
My brain was splitting apart, Annabeth is supposed to be the thinker.
Jason crawled next to me with our backs to the wall. "Is your mind still bubbling at all this... craziness?"
I gave him a lazy side glare "Crazy is an understatement Grace, my mind is melting."
That earned a laugh from the child of the skies. We sat there as we were both thinking of the same entity that made themself apparent to our situation. From their attitude, clothing and other features, I assumed that they were non binary or somewhere along the changing gender spectrum. They made me think of Alex Fierro, the gender fluid child of Loki who was with Magnus Chase, Annabeth's cousin, when I was teaching him oceanic survival skills.
Wow, that was a while ago.
"Do you think we can trust her?" Jason asked out of the blue. He stared up at the ceiling, lost in his own mind as well.
"Well," I had to ponder that, I guess he was thinking the same thing and wanted a second opinion. "They... what do we know about them? From my view, I think that Koda kid is non binary. They seem wise, optimistic, but." What did he want me to say? " I don't-"
I never got to finish. The steel door creaked open as the familiar blank face of a soldier appeared.
"Okay let's get this over with. DiAngelo! You're up!" He ordered, looking at death's child.
Nico met my eyes, it was only for a couple of seconds, but in that time I saw every emotion charging in him at those words.
But just as quickly, he hardened into the killer we know and glared at the guy "You better watch your distance with me. I'm not one to test." Every syllable drenched in a threatening tone. He took in Koda's advice not to struggle or fight.
With that, Nico Di Angelo was cuffed and dragged out of the room.
"Stay safe brother." Hazel mumbled under her breath. She was probably the most worried of us all since that was her brother that just got dragged off.
Jason was pacing next to the door, murmuring curses and threats about the situation.
But me, I just sat there. What else was there for me to do? So, I did the next worst thing, and prayed to gods.
"Please, Poseidon, dad, any of the gods. Show us what to do. Give us the strength to survive this madness."
No response. Figures.

Piper's P.O.V
Getting into the city was hard, but now, as I sneak across the roofs of the buildings, it's easier than I thought. And if I did run into someone, I would just charm speak them to believe I wasn't there.
From the broadcasts, the other Praetor was names Fen, a daughter of Iris. So imagine my surprise when I discovered a small building, named
Fen's Cafe and Treats
The shop was closed for the lunch hours, but that didn't bother me. I broke in through the back door.
Silently, I stalked through the kitchen area of the small diner. Everything was quiet, the lights were out and the smell of dough and frosting wavered. It had a retro but also European theme to it, the black and white tile flooring, old band posters like The Rolling Stones or Don McLean, even one of those old rainbow juke boxes.
As I payed attention to my movements, I couldn't help but think about what would happen next. If I did find this demigod, what would I do?
Geez, I really should have listened to Annabeth.
"What are you doing here? Don't you know we're on lunch break?" I voice teased. I gasped in surprise, she knew I was here.
Well, it was her diner, I should have known I couldn't keep up the fiasco.
I unsheathed my dagger Katoptris, getting into my defensive position, ready to face my current threat.
Would I hurt her? Kidnap her? What was my plan?
My thoughts were dissolved by the face of my dagger flashing. Once again, it was giving me visions.
I didn't even realize I got out of my once warrior pose and was now entranced by my weapon's messages.
Katoptris also meant looking glass or mirror in Ancient Greek. Even though the dagger was a pretty helpful weapon, it bared the curse of showing its own clips of the future. Which was what was currently happening.
I watched the scene play by, clashing swords, bright colorful explosions of yellow, green grey and white. A factory or workshop with flashing lights and sirens, yells of anger and fear, grey feathers, just like in my dream, raining down, and the blur reflection of a frail girl with a pan.
Oh wait.
I jerked around just as my head met the steel metal of a baking pan. With a grunt in pain, I collapsed to the tile floor.
"Sorry about that, can't trust unwanted customers." A soft but stern voice spoke. This felt like every monster situation I had ever been in. My vision began to darken as a pair feet covered in light purple and grey high socks made its way to me.
"What am I gonna do with you?"
The last words I heard before darkness took over and my concussion took over.
