A FEW DAYS LATER
Percy's P.O.V
Oh my gods, I am I HORRIBLE person!
So, during Ronan's rule over the demigods, he made a few other proclamations. One of which was to imprison those who posses the power of futuristic vision. The oracles.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare, camp Half-Blood's oracle, and Ella the harpy are both locked away in the prisons of New Rome, and have been for months!
So now, Frank and I are tearing apart each cell to look for the the two.
"I can't believe we forgot about them!" I scolded mainly myself as I slammed another cell door.
"I know," admitted the Praetor shamefully"I feel horrible. Lets keep looking."
As we looked along the cold corridors, a scream pierced the air.
"RACHEL!" I yelled, running towards the source of the noise. When we got to the cellar door, green smoke was leaking from the cracks along with a faint glow.
I slammed myself into the door, hoping to bust it down. After three consecutive slams, Frank stopped me, showing that he had the keys. A second later, the doors were opened.
Their cell was a lot like mine, just darker colors and no light source. Rachel was on her hands and knees, panting in pain.
I rushed over and kneeled next to her, calling her name several times and grabbing her my the shoulders. After a while, her seizer calmed.
"Oh thank gods Percy," said Rachel breathlessly "I knew you weren't dead." She gave me a pained smile, then groaned in pain and hung her head down, her red curls in knots.
The amount of pain she was in scared me to silence as I stared at her.
"She's been screaming in my head for months!" She growled through gritted teeth.
In the corner of the cell, a frail looking red harpy was bashing their head into the wall, letting out an ear piercing screech. Frank was next to her, trying to knock some sense in her.
"Rachel," I pleaded, trying to get over my surprise "What is happening?"
" A FREAKING PROPHECY THATS WHAT!" She yelled at me, then doubled over again.
"A prophecy-What?" I sputter in confusion "But everything's been solve, how could one-"
I was interrupted as an explosion of green smoke and light erupted from the young Oracle. I push sent flying into the wall across the room.
When the smoke and lights cleared and I gathered my senses, I looked at the scene around me. Frank was hunched in the corner, clutching a bruised head.
Groggily, I turned my head to the source of the commotion. Rachel and Ella both froze, Rachel's eyes were pure green. Orbs that were darker than lime, but lighter than forest green.
But the words that left her mouth terrified me to the bone."Dying light of Frey and Hodur to the limit the rise of Ragnorok. Bring me Freyson, Bring me Freyson, BRING ME FREYSON!"
The voice was the same ghostly elder woman as usual, the echo in the voice demanding and harsh. Rachel collapsed to the cold cellar ground, out cold.
"P-Percy," Frank stuttered as he crawled to me. "What was she talking about?" There was fear in his voice, and I didn't blame him.
That one word made my stomach drop, then twist like a towel being wrung out.
Ragnorok: the Norse word for the end of the universe.
I can't get one dam break for the love of gods!
