Annabeth's P.O.V.

It has been less than a week since the strange creature in my room, and things haven't gotten better.

A day later, Will's office in the infirmary was ransacked, taking the photo of he and Nico by the campfire. After Nico's death, Will cherished that photo, so he was angrier than ever when it was ripped from the beautiful dark wood frame.

The same attack for me, the figure stole a picture or two from my gallery. It was perfectly clear that that thing was sent from Ronan.

So I did the next best thing when it came to enemies, and drowned myself in research.

Sadly, there wasn't much, everything was confidential. He was 19 years old, lost his mother at a young age and had to live with his aunt and cousin, had been part of the seventh cohort for seven years, and that's about it.

Sighing, I closed the book that Frank gave me from the New Rome library, and leaned back in my chair. Who knew it was so difficult to obtain information of citizens could ever so hard?

I admire their security protocols.

Later in the afternoon, after lunch, I was drowning in studies when all of a sudden -

"ANNABETH CHASE? ARE YOU IN THERE?"

A voice was screaming for me in the cabin bathroom, and since all my other siblings were out sparring, I couldn't tell who it was.

Cautiously, I closed the book I was reading and walked to the bathroom. There, I was met with a busted shower head, spraying water everywhere, and the face of the co-praetor.

"Yes? Are you Fen?" I asked with a defensive undertone. She nodded, but the urgency in her eyes made it clear she couldn't stay long.

"Those books Frank Zhang gave you isn't going to help." She reported, I was tempted to say something cynical to that comment, but she continued "Look under the porch steps of your cabin at midnight."

A sound emitted from the daughter or Iris's side, her urgent face now losing color from fear. She met my eyes for a second, giving me a silent message I, for once, could not decipher. Fen sliced through the IM message, ending the connection.

I was left there standing like an idiot, the shower head spraying water in every direction, soaking me and the bathroom. It reminded me of when Percy first arrived at camp when he was twelve. Clarisse La Rue wanted to 'initiate' the newbie by dunking his head in the toilet. This caused every pipe line and faucet to explode in water pressure, flooding the bathroom and everyone in it. That was the first time I ever saw Percy's powers in action.

I must have been standing there longer than I thought because one of my siblings came rushing in, fixing the bathroom and interrogating me.

That night, I couldn't sleep. The suspense and desire for knowledge to great. So when I heard the ever so quiet noise outside the cabin, I knew I was in luck.

I quietly but urgently swung open the cabin door, hoping to meet a fellow rebel in this approach. But instead, all was silent. The dead of night bringing nothing but a few chirping bugs and a slight chilly breeze.

Remembering Fen's instructions, I bent down as lifted one of the stair stone. It was shockingly hollow, a hidden compartment I knew nothing of and yet our surveillant was aware of, and I had been living at this camp since I was seven.

It was a stack of papers, slightly torn and damaged, but still hard evidence. I hurried over to my bed, flopping on the mattress and turning on a small flashlight. The front page had Ronan's name stamped in a thick black ink. Turning the page, I dove into the new source.

The first few pages were the same thing I read in Frank's books, but when I came upon a page that gave explicit information, my hand went numb and I nearly dropped the packet.

It made sense how it was all connected, what role this narcissist and hypocrite played in the hands of government. Why didn't I think of it before?

Mother, I prayed let this be our key to stopping this tyranny. Let the deaths of our friends and family not be in vain.

Koda's P.O.V
I scuttled around the storage room of the center, the power to the room and all the other places in the facility out for the curfew. My hands stumbled upon a thermos made of a dark grey metal with bronze markings. This was it.

Tomorrow would be the breakout, it was time to my skills, experience, and trust to the test.

Ronan's P.O.V
It was late at night as I sat at my new desk in the praetor housing. The recent security alarm at the Facility was triggered yesterday so I was thankful that my men were able to handle it so swiftly.

I opened my laptop to re-watch my dear old friend Koda dig around my belongings for the blueprints to the experimental site. Then another clip where they snatched up the documents containing classified information about me. I'm not an idiot, I know what Koda and Fen are up too.

I exited out of the saved footage and dug around the present security cameras, laying my eyes on Fen's diner where once we would all have the most amazing brunch before we began our training. Oh how things have changed.

Through the camera, I studied Fen locking up the shop, looking exhausted.

"Enjoy your fun my dear friends." I mumbled to myself as I logged out of my computer, content over what my future actions will be with this new form of power I posses. "Your smooth sailing to a revolt is about to come to an end."
