AND JUST like that, it was the day of Baylens funeral. Blue put on a black dress, putting on her nicest shoes. She knew she'd be sobbing my the end of it so she didn't even put on light makeup.

"Blue, are you ready?" Sadie asked, leaning on her door frame. "I'll never be." She answered, turning to towards the blonde.
Sadie gave her a sad smile before they left the house. Colby's truck wasn't working so they took a taxi.

When they got out, a sick feeling washed over Blue. She told herself she was prepared for this but she wasn't. Not for a moment.

They got to where they were burying Baylen. Blue held her hands in front of her, waiting for it to start. Her eyes caught on a coffin. The one Baylen lay in.

Tears poured, her face still showing no emotion. Two more people walked over. Vance and Ali. Blue was honestly happy to see them.
Blue's grandma was also there. She stood next to Mandy, crying to. Blue looked up at the storm clouds, tears still running down her face.

The death ceremony started. Clara was bawling her eyes out as was Mandy and her mom, Carla. Vance looked at the ground before back up as they lowered the casket into the ground.

Blue still remain silent. Tears were still streaming down her face but she realized there was nothing she could do to bring him back.
Clara hugged her parents, sobs still ripping through her. Sadie was also in shambles. Mason kept her close, knowing this was hard on her.

Bruce and his family stood there with their hands in front or behind them, watching as this emotional moment unraveled. Bruce looked at Blue, his heart breaking even more for her.

Colby stood there, head down as the people said a few more words. At the end of it, they all threw in flowers. With that, they covered the casket with dirt.
Everyone stood there, most of them crying. Ali had even shed a few tears. After about 20 minutes of everyone sulking in their sorrow, some decided to leave.

"I can't be here any longer." Mandy hiccuped. Colby helped her to the taxi along with Carla. Ali decided they were going to leave to.
Vance placed a hand on Blues shoulder. "I'm sorry." He said before following his mother. Clara and her parents were the next to leave.

Bruce's family left as did he. They couldn't bare their feelings anymore.

Sadie stood next to Blue. "We'll wait for you." With that her and Mason left. Blue sighed, looking at the sky again. She wanted to speak out loud but she couldn't.

She soon left to. She walked towards the taxi as rain came pouring down. She got in the car, not saying a word. They got back home but it was lot more empty than before.
"Furniture is getting moved out in a few days. Make sure your room is completely packed." Mandy told Blue, sitting on the couch with her head in her hands.

Sadie gave Blue a sad smile. "I'll help." The two girls walked into Blues room. They silently put things into boxes, no music. Usually there would be but not this time.
Once they were done they sat on her bed. "When do you think you'll go back to school?" Blue shrugged. "Soon though." Sadie nodded.

The two talked for a bit until Blue decided she was going to go on a walk. She put on a jacket, leaving the house and out into the pouring rain.

She walked alone, staring at the street. She really did feel numb. And after the funeral, that topped it all off. She had never felt more exhausted though. She had been crying for days and that drains you like crazy.

As she walked, a few girls her age gave her a dirty look. "What?" Blue snapped, stopping to look at them. "We heard about your brother." One of them said in a 'duh' tone. "I bet you did." She answered.
"That must suck. I know you two were close." Another said, her voice in a mocking tone. "Yeah, why do you care?" Blue snapped again, throwing her jacket on the ground.

"It's a shame, he was really cute." The brunette one responded. "Question, what are your guys names?" Blue asked, putting on the most fake smile.
She found out the two blondes names. Avery and Emma. The brunettes name was Ella. Now Blue could put a name on them.

"Okay, thank you. Anymore to say?" "Yeah, you're brother and I were a thing one time. You should've invited me to the funeral." Emma pouted causing Blue to cringe.

But it also made her angry. Blue lifted her fist, nailing her hard in the jaw. That felt good.
The other girls looked at her like she was crazy. "You really gonna hit-." Before Ella could finish her sentence Blue had already had her on the ground.

People were starting to crowd around them. "You got something to say about my brother?" Blue questioned, standing up at looking at Avery.
"N- no." She stuttered, running off. "That's right, run bitch!" Blue shouted, looking at everyone who circled them.

She heard the familiar siren sound, immediately running from the scene. Thinking quickly, she ran onto the short cut to her house.
When she got there, she went through her window. She sighed, running a hand through her hair. A reflection caught her eye.

The object was shimmering in one the boxes, making her go towards it. The switchblade. The one she stole when the whole thing started.

She it picked up, examining it. Cut. Cut. Cut. A voice kept chanting in her head. She flipped the blade back in, throwing it back into the box.
These thoughts were honestly getting scary. And sometimes they'd win which was even more terrifying.

Blue sighed, laying on her bed. So much had been going on and she didn't know what to do with herself. She started thinking about ways to help with all of this.

Maybe therapy would be helpful.

She got changed into some comfortable clothes before grabbing a book and deciding to read. Something she hadn't done in a long time.

Vance was at the Grab n' Go, playing pinball of course. Sure, he had beaten his high score back at the carnival but now he had to actually beat it in his home town.

He was still upset about being broken up with but he decided it was best to get his mind off of it. Well Ali did actually. She had told the boy to try and take his mind off of everything.
A girl around his age saw him, finding him cute. She walked over, tapping his shoulder. Vance turned around annoyed, looking directly at her.

"What do you want?" He snapped. "Oh I um... just wanted to say I thought you were cute. You're Vance Hopper, right?" The girl asked.

"Yeah? And you are?" He asked confused as to why she was even talking to him. She smiled kindly. "Amelia."

A/N: don't worry about Amelia. She'll be gone soon enough.
