Kyle's POV

Our angel is in the mausoleum where my family lies. I can still remember the day when she came into my life, I was really happy. I did my best para maging the best brother for her.

We bought flowers along the way, white roses to be exact.

Funerals: White roses can be used in funeral settings too. Because they symbolize purity, it conveys that the departed has gone on to heaven.

The drive going to the cemetery is quiet. May time na kinakabahan ako, pero iniisip ko na this is a good part for us to go to.

"Love, we're almost there." Sabi ko. "Are you sure you're okay?"

Naka-red ang stoplight kaya I took the chance to ask Francine.

Tumingin naman sya sakin before giving me a small smile.

"Yeah, I'm okay." Sagot nya saken.

We finally arrived at the cemetery. The weather is not that hot today, may araw pero hindi naman humid.

Naalala ko pa yung time na we held a very private wake, and funeral for our child. Naging sobrang mahigpit ako non sa security, Tito Lyndon made sure na walang masasagap na any photos ang media.

We were a mess back then, Francine, and I. Hindi ko na maalala kung papano kami na-handle ng mga kaibigan namin non, lalo na si Francine. As far as I remember, if my memory serves me right, sina Seth, and Cassy ang talagang umalalay sakanya.

We made our way sa mausoleum. It's clean, I made sure na nalilinis ito twice a month.

She then traced her hand at the lettering na naka-ukit sa lapida.

"Hi, anak." Francine greeted.

I am behind her, pinapanood ko lang sya.

"Sorry it took us so long to visit you." Francine added. "It took us a long time to fully accept na you were taken away from us too soon."

With this, lumapit ako at tumayo beside her. Umakbay ako sakanya, and she leaned to me.

"We hope you forgive Mommy, and I." Sabi ko. "How is heaven, anak? Have you met your Tita Bella, and your grandparents?"

I moved my hand, and inilapat iyon sa lapida.

"We always wished na sana nahawakan ka man lang namin." I added. "But I guess heaven needed an angel that time, and you were the chosen one to go home."

Not this pain.

"Anak, wag ka magtatampo ha?" Francine says. "It was just really hard for Mommy, and Daddy."

"Promise, we will visit you more frequently." Sabi ko naman. "Mom, and I loves you so much, anak. We love you beyond words."

"Please be our angel always, ha?" Francine says. "Bantayan mo sana kami palagi."

"We will always love you, our angel."

So, I hugged her back before kissing her forehead.
