Jungkook had a secret. A secret that he couldn't tell anyone, not even his closest friends. He was in love with Taehyung, but he couldn't let anyone know. In Korea, being gay was frowned upon and he couldn't bear the thought of being rejected or bullied for it.
So instead, Jungkook resorted to bullying Taehyung. He felt guilty about it every time he did it, but he didn't know how else to deal with his feelings. Taehyung didn't understand why Jungkook was so mean to him. They had been friends since they were kids, but now it seemed like Jungkook couldn't stand to be around him.
Even though Taehyung didn't understand, he kept trying to befriend Jungkook. He didn't let Jungkook's mean remarks and actions get to him. He knew that there had to be a reason behind it all, but he couldn't figure it out.
One day, Jungkook was particularly angry about something and ended up yelling at Taehyung. Taehyung was hurt and confused, but Jungkook couldn't hold it back anymore. He had to tell Taehyung the truth.
"I love you, Taehyung," Jungkook yelled, tears streaming down his face. "But we can never be together. You know how our society feels about people like us."
Taehyung's eyes widened in shock. He had never even considered the possibility that Jungkook might be gay, let alone have feelings for him. Taehyung was in love with Jungkook too, but he had never said anything because he didn't want to risk ruining their friendship.
Jungkook and Taehyung started to talk about their feelings for each other in secret. They arranged to meet in quiet spots where they could hold each other and talk about anything and everything.
It wasn't easy though. They couldn't let anyone know about their relationship, not even their closest friends. They had to be careful about where they went and who they talked to. But despite all of these hardships, they were happy just being together.
They promised each other that they would find a way to be together in a world where being gay was accepted. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were willing to try.
For now, they were content just knowing that they loved each other and that they had each other's backs. They were willing to fight for their love, even if it meant fighting against the conservative society they lived in.
