Taehyung couldn't believe his luck when the roulette ball finally landed on the number he had bet on, making his chips grow tenfold. The other players around him groaned in disappointment, but he couldn't contain his excitement, flashing a million-watt smile.
Suddenly, a deep voice spoke beside him. "Congratulations, you have quite the luck." He turned to find Jungkook standing there, a sly smile on his lips. Taehyung didn't know who he was, but his confident aura made him curious.
"Thank you," he replied, tilting his head. "But who are you?"
"Just someone who likes to take risks. I saw you from the other side of the table and couldn't resist coming to chat with you."
Taehyung's smile faltered as he felt a strange pressure from the other man's gaze. He wasn't sure if he wanted to keep talking to him, but before he could think of a polite excuse to leave, Jungkook spoke again.
"Here's a proposition for you, if you're interested. We'll play a simple game of blackjack, where if you win, I'll give you my company and if I win, you should give me one night of your time."
Taehyung was taken aback by the offer. He didn't know what kind of business Jungkook had, but the idea of simply owning it was tempting. He hesitated, looking at his growing pile of chips, but the thrill of gambling and the chance to win more made him say yes.
They quickly found a vacant table and dealt the cards. Taehyung was confident in his ability to count and calculate the odds, but to his surprise, Jungkook was just as skilled. They kept betting, challenging each other, and Taehyung saw himself losing more often than winning.
Finally, after several rounds, Jungkook won the game. Taehyung felt the weight of his defeat, not just from losing the chance of owning a company, but also from the sense of disappointment that he wouldn't be in control of his own time.
He was about to mumble an apology and leave when Jungkook spoke again, his voice low and firm. "A deal is a deal, and I never go back on my word." He stepped closer to Taehyung, his eyes unreadable. "Come with me."
Taehyung didn't know what to do, but he couldn't deny the excitement growing in his gut. He followed Jungkook to the exit, leaving the casino behind. Once they got outside, he thought Jungkook would leave him be, but instead, he grabbed Taehyung's arm and pulled him along.
They took a cab to Taehyung's house, and once they were there, Jungkook pushed him inside, closing the door behind him. Taehyung hesitated, unsure of what was happening, but then Jungkook kissed him. Hard.
Taehyung couldn't resist the force behind it, and soon enough, he was kissing back. They stumbled through the house, clothes quickly flying off, as the heat between them grew.
Hours later, in the light of dawn, Taehyung laid naked in his bed, staring at Jungkook, who was also awake. He didn't know what the morning would bring, but for the moment, he was content to remain in bed, tangled up with this wild stranger who had become so much more.
