By 3 P.M., everyone was up and working. 10K was getting ammunition set up and teaching Brook different techniques for shooting. Doc and Murphy were exchanging medicine, and Doc was explaining what each pill did (not that Murphy cared). Warren was working with Mac and Addy to set up a signal for Citizen Z. "This is impossible," Addy said. "None of these frequencies are working," she said. "This place is great for living, but the only con is that the signals are terrible," Brook said. Addy sighed, "Tell me about it," she said. "I think we should try tomorrow. We've been trying this for the past four hours," Mac said. Addy nodded, "Yeah that might be better," she said. "It's getting late anyways. We should probably start up dinner," Warren said. "Yeah I can help," Addy said with a smile. Brooklyn walked over to 10K and grabbed his hand, "Follow me," she said. He smiled and ran with her up the building. There were multiple floors that were dark and gray, nothing like the bright colorful floor they were living in. She took him inside an empty room that had two walls made of glass. From their view, they could see the sun setting on the mountain tops. The whole sky became orange and pink. Looking down, you couldn't see any zombies, it was completely pitch black. "It's so beautiful," 10K said as he looked at Brook. She smiled and her face lit up. "Isn't it? I've never seen anything so magical before," she said. "It makes you forget about all the deaths, all the human happy meals, all the z's... I just wish our world could be beautiful like this once again," she said. 10K kept looking at her, "The world was never beautiful. But it was the moments that were beautiful," he said. He held her hand a bit tighter, "It was the people who were beautiful," he said. She looked at him with sparkling eyes. She smiled and swung her arms around his neck as she hugged him. He closed his eyes and hugged her back. "I wish every moment could be like this one," she said. He smiled and felt her soft hair that was dangling down to her waist, "It can be," he said. She held onto him tighter.

The two had stayed up in that room of theirs for hours. They watched the sun fall and all of the stars come out. Because there were no city lights, you could see each constellation. They both became very tired and they decided to head back downstairs to go to bed. 10K laid down and she laid on top of him. She thought it was so comfortable and she fell asleep quickly. "Goodnight Brook...my Brook," he said and he kissed her forehead. He pulled a blanket over her and held her close. Something inside of him wouldn't let her go.
