10K ended up staying in that theatre room most of the night as he thought about what he did. He began to fall asleep on the couch, but an hour later, he woke up gasping. He had another nightmare. He went to Brooklyn's room right away, and he knocked at her door. No response. He knocked again. No response. He knocked one more time, and Brook slightly opened the door. "What," she asked sternly. "Could I talk to you?" He asked gently. After a few seconds of hesitation, she opened the door more and let him in. She shut the door behind her after he came in. "Brooklyn, I'm so sorry," he said. "Please, I didn't mean to hurt you," he said. He took her hand, and again, flashes of his nightmare came. He kept holding her hand as tears from her face dripped onto them. He looked down at the floor, Brooklyn's voice from his dream kept floating through his head. 'Love destroyed me. You destroyed me,' the voice said. "I-I don't think that-that we should be together," he said painfully. She pulled her hand out of his grip in anger. "It's for the best," he said. Teary eyed, she looked up at him. "I loved you! How could you do that to me? Do you know how long it has been since I have smiled? I smiled the first day I met you. You can't just rip that from me," she said. "Brooklyn I just want what's best-" "And destroying what I thought was love is the solution?" "Please-" "I don't believe this. I LOVED you! And in one minute, everything changed," she said loudly. "I don't want to hurt you," he said louder. She began to yell, "It's too late for that!" "Just look at it from my perspective!" "Then I would be looking through the devil's eyes!" He began to get very angry. "I just want to keep you safe!" "And killing my only faith is your idea of safety?" "I LOST CASSANDRA! I AM NOT LOSING YOU!" He yelled. She took a few seconds before she said, "Get out. Go. Now." And he stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

A few hours later, early in the morning when everything was still dark, 10K knocked once more on Brooklyn's door. "Hey. It's me," he said calmly. When no one answered, he continued to talk, "I'm sorry Brook that I yelled at you. Please, I need to talk to you," he said. Mac came by, "Hey man. What's wrong?" "Brooklyn's not answering." Mac knocked on the door, "Hey Brooklyn? It's me Mac. Could you open up your door?" But again, there wasn't even the slightest noise from the other side of the door. He knocked again. 10K sighed as Mac gave up. "Maybe she isn't in there," he said. "Either that or you guys must have had a pretty big fight last night." "You heard us?" "Just muffled yelling and slamming doors." 10K nodded softly, and Mac left. Brooklyn was in her room though, and she was leaning against her door. 10K leaned on the door too. He began to quietly cry. "I'm so sorry. I just want you safe... I lost Cassandra, I can't lose you," he said. Brooklyn began to cry noiselessly on the other side of the door. Both of them just stood there.
