chapter ten.

later that day, there was no sign of Lo'ak for hours, Za'nara had been hanging out with Tsireya but later on decided to go check on Lo'ak, to see how it went with Ao'nung.

she stumbled upon Neteyam sitting on the sand.

"Hey killer." Za'nara greeted Neteyam, sitting down next to him.

"How's your lip?" Neteyam asked.

"Nothing a little salt water can't fix." Za'nara replied.

Neteyam smiled and continued looking out at the horizon.

"How did Lo'ak go with apologising to Ao'nung?" Za'nara asked.

"Wouldn't have a clue, I haven't seen him for a while." Neteyam replied.

"I saw Ao'nung and his friends just before, but there was no sign of Lo'ak. I thought he was with you." Za'nara told Neteyam, starting to feel a slight bit worried.

Neteyam turned to Za'nara.

"Then where the hell is Lo'ak?" Neteyam asked, with a concerned tone.

"Let's go talk to Ao'nung." Za'nara got up and raced with Neteyam to Ao'nung and his friends.

Neteyam and Za'nara sprinted their hearts out to find Ao'nung and his group, when they approached them, they were all acting suspicious and laughing at something.

"Ao'nung!" Neteyam yelled.

"Come for round two have you?" Ao'nung laughed.

"Your not one to talk with that black eye." Neteyam replied.

"Enough you two, where's Lo'ak?" Za'nara asked.

"Wouldn't have a clue." Ao'nung replied.

"Don't lie to me Ao'nung." Za'nara snapped. "This is serious."

"Za'nara how about me and you go for a walk and talk about this?" Ao'nung suggested.

"No chance, don't think I didn't hear the stuff you said about me. I thought you were kind Ao'nung, but I guess I was wrong." Za'nara replied. "Now for the second time, tell me where Lo'ak is."

"Maybe he found himself a fish to talk to." One of the random guys joked.

Neteyam couldn't take it anymore and grabbed Ao'nung by his shoulders and held him down to his knees.

"I'm going to ask you one last time, where the hell is my brother?" Neteyam demanded an answer. "Answer me now or I'll make you."

"Okay okay, we took him out to the reef." Ao'nung answered.

"The reef?" Za'nara repeated, clearly pissed off. "Why would you take him somewhere he's never been and leave him there? Have you lost your mind?"

"Tree boy needed to be taught a lesson, not to sucker punch me." Ao'nung replied.

"If you don't shut up, I'm going to punch you." Neteyam said after Ao'nung made the comment about Lo'ak.

Neteyam brought him to his feet and held him by his braid.

"You can explain this to my father." Neteyam said marching Ao'nung off to his hut. "Za'nara! Alert the guard and Toniwari!"

"Okay!" Za'nara yelled back.

Ao'nung's group of deciples stood around looking confused.

"I swear to god if you guys don't get out of my face." Za'nara threatened.
