Flashback, ten years ago, before Za'nara went missing...

Za'nara and Lo'ak ran around the forest all day, collecting pieces of bark and long sticks that had fallen off the trees to create a secret hideaway were they could go to hide from their mothers and fathers when they wanted to play.

"Lo'ak! You said you'd help me!" little za'nara cried out. "Why won't you help me!"

"I've been helping this whole time, come on, follow me!" Little lo'ak replied.

As Lo'ak led Za'nara deeper into the forest he showed to her the little cubby he had already made for the two of them.

"Tada!" Little lo'ak squealed.

Za'nara was amazed at the tiny little cubby Lo'ak had built from scratch. It was nothing flash but for a six year old, it was a whole world.

"I love it!" little za'nara cheered. "Can we go sit inside?"

"Let's go!"

Little lo'ak grabbed Za'nara's hand and pulled her inside of the cubby, sitting her down, passing her the toy rubber ikran his father had given to him to play with.

"I love it." little za'nara squealed with excitement. "we should stay in here forever!"

"Forever is a very long time, what about our families!" Little lo'ak interrupted.

"We have eachother." Za'nara smiled.

"Forever?"

"Forever."

PRESENT TIME

"Watch her head, watch her head!" Jake yelled at Lo'ak, as the family hurried to pull her body onto the rocks. "Put her down right here."

Za'nara let out a loud groan in pain, screaming as she held her chest.

"Kiri!" Neytiri screeched. "GO GET RONAL!"

Tsireya and Kiri hurried away from the rocks to find Ronal 0r anyone who could help.

"Lo'ak! Keep your hand on her chest firmly, try to stop the blood from flowing out!" Jake instructed. "Za'nara prepare yourself, it's going to hurt!"

"I'm already in pain, how bad can it be." Za'nara puffed out, physically exhausted, with shallow breathing.

Lo'ak placed his hand hard over the wound, which caused Za'nara to let out a painful scream.

"I'm so sorry, Za, I'm so so sorry." Lo'ak began frantically apologising, ranting on the same three words. "Stay with me."

Tuk began to sob, seeing Za'nara in so much pain worried her heart, her little face puffed up from the tears. Neteyam grabbed her and held her to him as he tried to prevent himself from crying as-well.

Everyone was crouched down in front of her, surrounding her body, and letting the light shine over her.

"The suns out." Za'nara spoke softly to Lo'ak.

"You are my sun, without you, everything's dark."

Za'nara repeated back the words Lo'ak had once shared with her before all this had happened.

"My sun." Lo'ak sniffled. "Me and you."

"Forever." Za'nara spoke softly.

"Forever." Lo'ak repeated as a tear dropped down his cheek.
