chapter 30 !!!

Neteyam and Lo'ak shuffled carefully on the roof of the ship, watching as the guards pulled Spider and Za'nara towards the get away boats.

In the water, Kiri had found her way to Tuk and Tsireya, helping them to swim to safety when Lyle swooped down to the water and grabbed the both of Kiri's arms with his ikran and flew her all the way back over to the ship.

"LET ME GO!" Kiri screamed, but she couldn't break herself free.

"Kiri!" Tuk screamed. "We have to go back for her!"

"Tuk no." Tsireya replied, knowing it was a bad idea to head back to the ship.

"Sullys stick together." Tuk repeated their family mantra and began swimming back over to the ship.

Tsireya followed her all the way.

Lyle dropped Kiri on the ship and held her down.

"Come on buttercup!" Lyle said dragging Kiri.

"I'm not your buttercup, perv!" Kiri snapped back.

He dragged her to the railing and cuffed her arms to it.

On the other side of the ship...

Lo'ak and Neteyam waited for the perfect moment to create a distraction and to rescue Spider and Za'nara...

Once they were finally ready, they jumped down, knocking out the guards and throwing few overboard.

Neteyam punched the guard, pulling off his mask and throwing him over board. Za'nara grabbed Neteyam's knife and stabbed through another guards mask, kicking him over. Spider grabbed the mask off the guard and knocked him out. As soon as they were about to make their escape... A guard turned around aiming his gun at Za'nara, Lo'ak noticed and picked up a gun shooting the guard four times.

The look on Lo'ak's face was numb. He had never killed before. Za'nara quickly ran over to him.

"Are you okay?" She whispered in his ear.

He unfroze and wrapped his arms around her back, holding her in his embrace.

"Yeah..."

"Thanks guys for saving us." Spider thanked them all.

Lo'ak smiled.

"Let's go." Neteyam said to the group.

On the other side of the ship~

Tuk and Tsireya crept on to the ship, checking their surroundings for any guards and began to look around for Kiri. Little did they know that Quaritch had finally made his way back onto the ship.

They found Kiri and Tsireya jumped over the rail, attempting at cutting through the cuff. As she began to cut, Quaritch came from nowhere, lifting Tuk into his arms and throwing Tsireya overboard. He grabbed a spare pair of cuffs and cuffed Tuk up next to her sister.

Lo'ak, Za'nara, Neteyam and Spider made their way down the deck, looking for an exit off the ship. As they ran down to the lower deck, they were spotted by Lyle and other guards who began shooting at them. They hid around a corner and Neteyam grabbed the gun from Lo'ak and began shooting back at them, giving the rest of the group a chance to make it free.

"Go!" Neteyam yelled.

"What about you?" Za'nara asked him.

"I'll deal with it, just go!" Neteyam yelled.

Spider, Lo'ak and Za'nara made a run for it, jumping over the railing and into the water.

Neteyam shot a few more bullets before deciding to drop the gun and make a run for it.

He jumped into the water after them.

Lo'ak and Spider came up to the surface and instantly started laughing.

"THAT WAS INSANE CUZ!" Lo'ak laughed loudly, high fiving Spider as he laughed with him.

"Guys..." Za'nara spoke softly, turning to see Neteyam groaning in pain.

Tsireya rode over next to them.

"Bro come on." Lo'ak said to his brother.

"You skxawng!" Neteyam groaned in pain. "I'm shot!"

"Fuck." Za'nara mumbled, as they all raced over to him.

"It's his shoulder." Za'nara told the rest of the group.

"Get him on the ilu." Tsireya told them all.

The group pulled him onto the ilu, Spider sitting behind to support him, Lo'ak in-front, and Za'nara and Tsireya tugging on to the sides.

"It's okay bro I got you!" Lo'ak attempted to reassure his brother.

"They have Kiri and Tuk!" Tsireya reminded him.

"I can't go back." Lo'ak replied, voice shaky and stressed.

At the rocks ~

"Dad!" Lo'ak yelled. "It's Neteyam, he's hurt!"

Jake ran over to them and helped them all lift Neteyam over to the rocks.

Jake checked his back and instantly felt a sense of relief when he seen that the bullet hadn't come out his back.

"Put pressure on it!" Jake told Lo'ak, who held his hand on the wound firmly.

"Jake, give me your gun strap!" Za'nara demanded. "Lo'ak I need your hair tie!"

Za'nara used to gun strap and hair tie to make a sort of bandage like material to stop the blood from flowing out of his shoulder until the bullet could be removed.

"This is going hurt, Tey!" Za'nara told him.

Applying a large amount of pressure on the wound, Neteyam let out a load groan and the vein in is forehead looked like it was about to pop. Sweat seeping out of his skin as Za'nara patched him up.

Neytiri flew over to the rocks and saw the blood coming from Neteyam.

"Neteyam, oh gosh, are you okay?" Neytiri ran down, motherly instinct taking over as she sat down in front of him, caressing his cheek.

"I'm going to be okay." Neteyam puffed out, tired and unsteady as he had lost quite a bit of blood.

"Where's your sisters?" Jake asked Lo'ak.

"I don't know..."

"Where are they?!"

"They're tied up on the ship..." Tsireya replied.

"We need to go save them!" Za'nara yelled at everyone. "Now!"

"Let's end this, once and for all!" Neytiri growled, as she had finally had it of Quaritch coming after her family and after the attempt he had just had on her first child's life, she was pissed.

"Tsireya, stay here with Neteyam." Za'nara insisted.

"Za'nara...maybe you should stay too. I just got you back, I don't want to lose you again." Lo'ak commented, his worries taking over. "I can't lose you..."

Za'nara placed her hands on his face gently, pulling his forehead into his.

"You won't lose me." She whispered , softly. "I'm right here."

Lo'ak kept his eyes closed for a split second before agreeing to let her come.

The Sully family all made their way, back over towards the ship.

Neytiri's ikran screaming as she flew in the air, racing towards the ship.
