AALIYAH'S POV:

Over the past few days I had been seeing Aun secretly. Although we couldn't exactly date or do much (you know what I mean 😜) we took every opportunity we got to be together, in the library studying, staying after school for tutorials, you get the gist. It was like a mutual understanding, I don't know if he liked me but I knew one thing for sure, this boy was my first crush.

At the moment I was sitting in Chem waiting for Fatima to arrive. I was getting impatient and restless so I decided to see where she was for myself.

Just as I was about to walk outside the class I bumped into a hard wall. Wasn't there just an opening for the door in front of me a second ago?!? My shocked expression amused whoever was in front of me because the wall was rumbling now.

I looked up to see Akbar standing there chuckling. He moved a little closer to me.

"Where you going sweetheart?" He smirked noticing my flustered look.

"Sorry I was looking for Fatima." By now I had turned a Crimson color and looked down to hide my embarrassment.

"Don't worry, it's just me. You're free to bump into me anytime." He reaches under my chin and makes me look up into his chocolate brown eyes. I secretly wished that was Aun.

"Excuse me." A stiff voice came from behind. Thank God for sending whoever it was.

I quickly moved away from Akbar's magnetic touch as Aun pushed his way inside.

I turned around and followed him to where he was seated, full of anger. He shrugged off my hand that was on his shoulder.

"What's wrong?" I asked, worried.

"Nothing." Something clearly was.

"Tell me Auny!" I cooed, knowing he'd get annoyed and tell me. He cracked a smile at the nickname I teased him with, solely for one reason - he hated it.

All of a sudden the smile was gone, just like it had come. "Why don't you nickname him?" He glared at Akbar.

"Oh Akbar's the problem?!" I asked shocked and stretching 'Akbar' just to be sure I heard correct.
