Should I have bring Rey with me? No I couldn't have done that. I got into this mess myself, I should be the one solving it.

Last night when Rey was peacefully sleeping in my arms, Stacy had called me. She sounded devastated. Asked me to meet her for once, alone.

By morning she had texted me the address. It's far. I have been driving for an hour. I already passed the highway.

I finally reached the place. The place is isolated. I reach towards the cliff. I found her.
Suddenly my heart is beating too fast. I hope she is clean. I hope she didn't kill him. I hope Rey doesn't arrest her.
"Stacy!"
She turns towards me. She looks lost, miserable.
I don't know what to say. Thousands of questions running in my mind.

"Did you really kill him?" I ask.
She shivers.
Silence.
"Why Stacy, why?"
"I loved him, Eve. I loved him." She cries.
"You could have told me. I would have happily... " I hardly can find words.
"I had no choice. I had no choice." She repeats.
"And that's why you framed me?" I accuse her.
"You stole the pen drive, didn't you? It was you who kept the pendant beside the body?"
"I considered you my best friend Stacy. How could you?" Betrayal hits every cell of my body.
"Forgive me" She kneels down.
"I had no choice. I loved him but he. "
"He what? What did he do?"
We are stopped by the sound of wheels. Two jeeps are coming in our direction.
"You brought them?" Stacy accuses me.
"No"
"I told you to come alone. Even you abandoned me." She starts going backwards.
"No Stacy, stop. Listen to me."
"Stacy"
"Nooooooo"
"Stacyyyyyyyyyy."
