I finished working that evening and walked outside his company. Suddenly, i heard a dog crying.
I walked further and saw that it was a little puppy, covered in dirt.

I gasped and started walking over to him when i suddenly saw someone else running to him from the opposite direction. I hid behind a wall and looked at him.
"Oh poor baby!".

He saw the same boy from yesterday in the convenience store, squatting down infront of the puppy, hugging him. His white hoodie was now full of mud.
He didn't seem to care and the only thing that mattered was that the dog felt loved.
"Do you have a home?" Felix asked and the dog barked.
He looked if there was a collar but there wasn't one. "You feel so skinny... you must be hungry. I have 1 hour till i have to go to work. I can clean you up and buy some food for you... if i can find the money for it".
Felix shook his head and smiled "i got the 15 bucks the man from yesterday gave me! I can buy some food for you with that. I'll just skip diner tonight so i can still save up that money like i promised chan" the boy said and hugged the dog
