Part 1: The Last Day
I wake up the next morning to my alarm blaring the most annoying sound made ever.
BEEP BEEP BEEP.
Ugh if only I could strangle it.
I feel refreshed for a change, and I'm already excited for my date with Lorne. I literally jump out of bed, and dive into my closet. I pick out a cute jean romper, and wrap around a thin brown leather belt. I add a white knit cardigan. Than I jump down the stairs into the kitchen. Piper is already in the kitchen, munching on fruit loops.
She wears a light blue romper with a thin black leather belt around her waist, and a thin black necklace.
We match. My mom would call it a photo opportunity.
I pore a bowl of Krave and eat it quickly. Once I've finished, I set my bowl in the dishwasher, and jump back up the stairs to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face. Than I apply mascara on my eyelashes after brushing on a small amount of light brown eye shadow. I dab on some Beecolony Lemon Lavender Lip Balm to have a more natural look, and rub lotion into my hands and knees. Dang knees are always dry. Bugs the crap out of me.
Than I get a text.
*Hey!
-Lorne*
*Hey! Wyd?
-Camille*
*Nothing really :)
-Lorne*
*Me neither :) Last day of school!
-Camille*
*Oh riiiiiight!
-Lorne*
*Like you forgot ;P
-Camille*
*Ha ur right I didn't ;P
-Lorne*
I shove my phone back into my pocket and roam downstairs. Mom is in the kitchen packing lunches up from Piper and I.."
"Here." She says, handing mine to me. "Have a great last day hun." She smiles and pulls me into a hug.
"Thanks Mom." I say, tucking my lunch into my backpack.
I hear a horn being honked, so I swing my bag over my shoulder and head outside. I jump into Jett's car and sit next to Lorne in the backseat.
"Piper isn't coming?" Jax asks.
"I guess not. She can take the bus anyway." I say. Jax smiles at me, and I remember what Jett had said to me yesterday. About letting him down easy if I didn't like him. I smile back with a measured amount of sweetness.
"Okay." He nods, turning back to his window, and Jett starts the car. Than the car pulls away from my driveway.
When we pull into the High School's parking lot, and I see Ash watch me step out of the car.
I see Lorne glare at him as we walk inside and walk all together into my third hour hallway.
"I'm gonna go." Jett says. We say goodbye and he walks over to a pretty girl with light blonde hair and blue smoky eyes.
"If that his girlfriend?" I ask Jax.
"Yep her name's Elizabeth. They've been dating sense sophomore year." Jax says. I watch them kiss, Jett's arms wrapped around her waist, her arms around his neck. I get a ball of jealousy grow in my stomach, and I don't even know why. Maybe it's just that I want what they have.
