Lorne and I sit on his bed.
"I'm so sorry Lorne." I say, placing my hand on his shoulder.
"It's not your fault." He says. He leans over and wraps his arms around me. Than he pulls me into him and lays down. I snuggle up against his chest. He smells of his fabric softener. He strokes my hair with one hand, and the other is wrapped under me and around my waist.
"I know." I whisper. He kisses me softly on the top of my head and I draw circles on his chest. "We should go see Jax in the morning at the hospital."
"Yeah." He goes still for a moment, but relaxes just as quickly. "I-I think he likes you. It makes me nervious."
"Well he wouldn't do anything to me." I say. Lorne nods.
"I know." He says. "Want to stay over?" He pulls me even closer. His chest pressed against my back.
I nod, than, I slowly fall asleep, my breathing matching with Lorne's.
And the last thing I think before traveling to my dreams, is, I'm still wearing my pink skirt and my white crop top...
I wake up to my phone ringing on the bed beside me. I grab it, staying layed down so that I wouldn't wake Lorne who has his arm wrapped around me. The clock says that it's almost midnight. So I've only been asleep for a little more than an hour or so.
"Hello?" I whisper.
"Camille! Finally, you answered!" It's Mom.
"Oh, sorry. I fell asleep."
"Where are you?" She asks.
"I'm at Lorne's house." I say.
"I should have guessed. You can stay there for the night. Tell Lorne that I'm sorry about his dad." Mom says.
"Ok Mom. Bye."
"Good bye dear."
Than I hang up and fall back asleep in Lorne's arms.
Lorne's alarm clock wakes us up at 6:00 in the morning.
"Morning." He says sleepily as he stops the alarm. Sunlight spills through the window across from the bed, the curtains parted slightly.
"Good morning Lorne." I say. I lean over and kiss him lightly on his cheek.
"How did you sleep?" He asks.
"Great." I sigh. He wraps his arms around me, pulling me close to him once again. I climb into his lap and lay my head on his shoulder, his arms, still wrapped around me. "We should go see Jax at the Hospital soon." I say. He nods, and I feel him inhale sharply.
Eventually, we get up, and i change into a pair of Lorne's sweatpants and throw on one of his sleeveless hoodies over my crop top.
We step outside.
It's a cool day. Threatening rain clouds hover close to the ground and make everything seem colorless. I can almost feel my hair curling up from the humidity.
We get into Lorne's car and we drive to the nearest Tim Hortons. I order a small Iced Cappuccino, and a double chocolate donut.
I turn on the seat warmers and sip on my Capp while we drive to the Hospital.
We walk inside and go to the front desk.
"Hello, how may I help you?" The woman asks.
"Yes. Uh, do you know what room Jaxson Stone is?" Lorne taps on the desk as he talks.
