THIRD PERSON POV:

"Kaveh. Wake up." Alhaitham said as he gently tapped kaveh on the shoulder to wake him up.

"No. Just 5 more minutes." Kaveh whined.

"You don't have 5 minutes, kaveh. It's today."

As soon as Alhaitham said that, kaveh jolted up and ran out of bed to put on his clothes and do his hair. Kaveh grabbed his blueprint and ran out of the dorm to the site where the auction was held.

Alhaitham, however, was about to take a nap when he realized how dirty his room was. He ended up cleaning his room for about 2 hours. He put on his soundproof headphones and went for a walk around the city. He had brought some mora with him, so he decided to go shopping to buy some groceries for the dorm while kaveh was gone. Since he was going to be out there in the desert for a few hours.

While he was looking for some food and seasonings, he thought to himself. Why would the Akademiya hold an event in the desert? Then it hit him it wasn't an event it was a trap to lead kaveh to his death.

"Shit." He mumbled to himself as he paid for the seasonings and food. And ran home and threw them on the couch. And ran out to the desert where the false event was held.

KAVEH POV:

"Where is everybody." I was looking around the area. I saw chairs and a wooden platform that looked unstable, so I stayed clear of it. I sat down my blueprint while I looked around for anybody who could tell me if they moved the location at the last minute.

"While looking around for someone, I saw this kid who was telling me to go to him. I remember Alhaitham telling me about eremites using children to lure in people. To make some mora. I asked the kid to come to me but he didn't move. So I looked around and saw someone with a cross-bow aiming at my head. As soon as he noticed me, he shot at me. I dodged it, but it hit my side. I groaned in pain from the sharp arrow hitting my side, but when I took it out to see the damage it did, I noticed that the arrow was poisoned. Knowing this, I had to get out of there as quickly as possible, but with my injury, I couldn't run very far.

After about 5 minutes, I felt my body getting weaker, but I also heard a group of people behind saying things like. "Make sure he doesn't make it alive" or "kill him." I was afraid for my life, I was running as fast as my injury allowed me to. I wished I had never agreed to come to this in the first place. And before I knew another arrow came fly at me, and it had hit me in my back, causing me to fall and pass out due to loss of blood.

ALHAITHAM'S POV:

When I reached where the false event was held, all I saw was kaveh's blueprint and blood. Upon seeing this site, my blood ran cold. I ran towards the patch of blood and saw a path of blood leading straight ahead. I ran in the path of the blood, hoping he was alive.

"I can't lose you."
