ALHAITHAM'S POV:

Tighnari and Cyno have been encouraging me to keep going since I'm almost there. It's been 1 month and a half now. I've been dreaming of him ever since Tighnari told me he was in a coma. I miss him so much. I didn't realize it, but I found himself in his room a lot reading books. One time, Cyno and Tighnari was over at my place and saw me sleeping in Kaveh's room. Of course, Cyno, being that person that he is he just had to take a picture of it.

"Hey. Alhaitham, how have you been?" Cyno said with a tone that I never knew I hated until a few weeks ago.

"What is it now, Cyno?" I asked, clearly annoyed.

"Look." As he showed me a picture of me sleeping in kaveh's room.

"Okay and?" I asked, confused.

"It's you in kaveh's bedroom. Looks like someone misses him a lot." Tighnari added.

"I do, but knowing I need to just go two more weeks without then, I can be with him again." I said, not realizing the tone of my voice as I said that.

As I was looking at those two in front of me, they asked if I wanted to go out with them to Nilou's place with Collei and nilou.

"Yea, sure, it's not like I have anything better to do anyway."

They both looked me with that look, which instantly made me regret my decision.

While we were walking to Nilou's place, I couldn't help but look at the sky and think about him.

"He always loved looking at the stars." I didn't notice, I said that out loud till Cyno said something.

"You mean Kaveh?" Cyno said, looking at Alhaitham.

"Yes, I mean Kaveh. Before I became the scribe, he always talked about how the sky looked at night and how beautiful it was, and to be honest, I never saw what he meant until now. If I were to be perfectly honest, he was right."

"I swear if I were to tell you to fully confess your love for kaveh, I bet you wouldn't be finished in one month." Tighnari said as we neared our destination.

"You're right, Tighnari. I wouldn't be able to fully confess within a month it's like every day I found something new to love about him." I said. Not wanting to gain too much attention from Cyno. But that clearly failed.

"Awwwww. That's cute, but save it for when we get inside."

Tighnari knocked on Nilou's door. She answered quickly, which came as a surprise to all of us.

"You two actually managed to get Alhaitham to come here?!" Nilou said surprisingly.

"Yea, they did only because they didn't want to see me rotting away in my dorm reading a boo-" Before I could finish, I was cut off.

"And busy mourning over his unconscious boyfriend." Cyno said while smirking at me.

"For the last time, Cyno. Kaveh isn't my boyfriend."

"Okay, whatever you say." Cyno said as he rolled his eyes.

As we walked in and settled down, Collei asked if we had any stories to tell. Since I was bored, I decided to tell the story about how kaveh saved me from danger while we were out in the desert.

"Since it's getting a little dull, I'll tell yall the story about how I was saved by Kaveh while we were out in the desert." I said, knowing full well what Cyno was about to say.

"This is another interesting story, Alhaitham." Cyno said as everyone began to put their attention on to me.

"Kaveh and I went into desert because he was looking for inspiration and and I was going out to study and acient ruin. The wind was a bit stronger than usual, but I didn't care. As me and Kaveh were about to leave the desert. The wind blew me into the ruins and saw what happened and came to get me out of there, but I took this a chance to learn more about the ancient ruins. The puzzles were something I was almost ready for. The only time it caught me off guard was when a giant ruin hunter appeared right in front of me. It had seriously injured my arms and managed to land some scratches on my head. Even though I ended up destroying it, I wouldn't be able to walk for long until my vision started to become blurry. After a while, I had passed out, and I heard a voice it was kaveh. I woke up we were out of the ruins, and he managed to tell me about when I fully healed about what he discovered in the ruins while I was on his back. Thanks to him, I managed to make it out alive, and I made a good score on that research paper."

All Nilou did was look at me with wide eyes like everyone did.

"What?"

"I don't know, maybe it's because the Alhaitham the scribe of the Akademiya is blushing for the lead architect." Tighnari said teasingly.

This is going to be the longest two weeks of my life, I thought to myself as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
