It was currently 6:30 am. When Alhaitham woke up to cook breakfast for Cyno and Tighnari as a thank you for staying with him and comforting him. But as soon he walked into the living room, after his shower, he saw Tighnari already cooking.

"Tighnari. What are you doing up so early?" Alhaitham asked.

"I'm cooking for you and Cyno."

"Okay. I just want to say thanks to you and Cyno for choosing to stay with me."

"Of course. Alhaitham, you are our friend, and it's our duty to be there when you need it the most." Cyno said.

"Do you have work today?"

"No, I'm off today, surprisingly."

"Okay then, what is this? When cleaning Kaveh's room. I saw this under his pillow." Cyno held up to Alhaitham.

"What is what?" When looking at it, I realized that it was the book I gave when we were kids.

"It's the book I gave him when we were kids before we parted ways for 17 years. I'm surprised he remembered about our childhood. I made a promise to myself while we were solving the word puzzles."

"What was the promise?" Tighnari asked as he brought food over to Alhaitham and Cyno.

"That I would protect him at all costs." As Alhaitham said this his voice started breaking as if he was about to cry.

And I failed to do that." Alhaitham said as tears were falling down his face.

"I'm sorry I didn't know the book at something to do with your childhood." Cyno said.

"It's okay. I just had a dream about it, too. He was so cute as a child and cute as an adult."

"Ohhhhh. Someone has a crush on Kaveh~" Cyno teased.

"Cyno, I swear I'll fight you right now if you keep with your teasing."Alhaitham said.

"Calm down, you two. It's too early in the morning for all of this. Maybe a game a TCG could settle this."

"Okay, if I win, you have to admit that you are crushing on Kaveh." Cyno said.

"If I win, you have to leave me alone about it. Which means no more teasing." Alhaitham said.

After 3 rounds of TCG, Cyno turned out to be the Victor of the match.

"How?" Alhaitham said.

"No one beats me at TCG, Alhaitham. You of all people should know this already." Cyno mocked as a way of celebrating his victory against Alhaitham.

"So, admit your crush on Kaveh. Alhaitham, we already know."

"If you know, then why do you want me to admit to it?"

"Because."

"Whatever. The truth is I love him ever since we were 12 and 13 I fell for him. The way he talks. The fact that he puts his hands on his hip every time I talk to him. He's beautiful. It's just the little things that he changes about him, like the accessories he wears in his hair or when he started to wear a feather in his hair."

"We'll damn. You really love him, don't you?" Tighnari asked.

"Yes, I do love him. Just hearing his name makes my heart race. I miss him. All I want is to hold him in my arms and tell him how much he means to me."

"Alhaitham... He'll be okay, trust me.

"Thank you guys for everything."

"No problem, Alhaitham." Cyno and Tighnari said.

ALHAITHAM'S POV

It's been 2 weeks, and I don't know if I can go through another 6 weeks without him complaining. That's when it hit me. I miss him so much that I miss him complaining about almost everything. I usually like the quiet, but now I want to hear some type of noise.

I wanted to see him again, so I went to where he was resting. When I reached there, I saw him laying there, his hair blowing in the wind, but I knew I still had to wait 6 more weeks before I would hear him again. I gently grabbed his hand and kissed it.

"I miss you, Kaveh."
