THIRD PERSON POV:

It's the day before kaveh wakes up, and Alhaitham is reading a book as usual. But this time, he closed it and walked outside with his soundproof headphones. As he walked throughout sumeru City, he couldn't help but notice Tighnari andmCyno out on a walk together. He didn't want to disturb them, so he walked in a different direction from those two love birds.

"Hey, isn't that Alhaitham?" Tighnari pointed out as Alhaitham was walking the other way.

"Yea, it is, but he seems to be busy, so let's not disturb him." Cyno said.

"Okay." Tighnari agreed.

ALHAITHAM'S POV

I was peacefully sitting on a bench with a spare book to read cause I needed to get out of my house every once in a while since the last time I was out of my house was when me, Cyno, and Tighnari went to Nilou's house. There wasn't much to do at my place anyway since it was clean. And the food was in the refrigerator. So ultimately, there was nothing to do at the house, but I don't want to sleep all day. But that would be a good way to waste the day before kaveh wakes up.

As a child, I never found myself talking to other kids. kaveh was the only person I really talked to because of how welcoming he was, and he never commented on my appearance. Like other kids did. My parents wanted me to aim for the grand sage of the Akademiya, but I wanted to be the scribe because it didn't require much work. So when I told them I wanted to be the scribe they supported me as it was something I wanted to do. I should visit them they don't live to far from here actually.

It didn't take long to reach the house of my parents. I knocked on the door. My mother came to the door.

"Hey mother it's been a while." I said as she looked at me.

"Alhaitham you've grown a lot since me and your father last you."

"Alhaitham since when you go to the gym." My sister had to point out.

"Since I left to go to the Akademiya." I said as I walked in.

"So you got a lover yet?" My older sister as a joke."

"No. I don't."

"Come one Alhaitham. You should find love."

"I don't have a lover cause I like someone else right now." I felt a bit a redness creep it's way onto my face as I said that.

"ohhhh. Who's the lucky guy?"

"I'm sure all of you know him but it's kaveh the lead architect of the Akademiya."

"I KNEW IT!" My older sister yelled cause her wife to wake up.

"Knew what?" I asked.

"Since Kaveh was the only person you talked to she figured that you would end up falling for him eventually."

"It's getting late why don't you stay over the night?" My father asked.

"Yea sure I don't have anything else to do right now."

THIRD PERSON POV

Because Alhaitham and Kaveh were best friends when they were kids it only made since that Alhaitham fell in love with Kaveh as he grew up with him. Alhaitham doesn't know if Kaveh loves him back. Kaveh is always caring and kind towards him. So he doesn't know if he really likes him back or not.

"Alhaitham!" His sister yelled as she ran into his room.

"What?" He said as he closed his book.

"Can you help me pick a dress out for a date with my wife?"

"Sure but why didn't you get your wife to do it?"

"Because I told her it was going to be a surprise."

"For the love of lesser lord Kusanali why are you like this."

"Because I that's just how I am."

Alhaitham was ready to see kaveh again. Even though he has 13+ hours until he can see him again he was ready for anything kaveh was going to say he wanted kaveh to complain he missed it. Alhaitham missed hearing kaveh complain over everything he could complain about. All he wanted as to hold kaveh in his arms again. Feeling his blonde hair was all he wanted right now. He wanted to see him smile again. Knowing that he would have all of this tomorrow made him feel more happy than he has ever been in his entire life.
