Just a little note or warning before you read the chapter, I couldn't find anything on how a trial would go in sumeru, so you'll have to 🐻 with me here.

It was finally the day of the trail that would prove Kaveh's innocence in this case. When they arrived at the place where the trial would be held. It was empty, nor was it filled.

"Kaveh, it was said that you were the cause of serious injuries to multiple people at a wedding that was held two weeks prior to this date. It was also said that you were framed for this crime. Is this true?"

"Yes."

"You have pleaded not guilty to this case. With that, you can present the first piece of evidence, Al-Haitham."

"This is a document that contains a list of safe flowers that can be used as decorations it was signed by Tighnari. The date of when the paper was signed is on here, too."

Al-Haitham handed the paper to the judge.

"This paper was signed and dated by Tighnari."

"Before we continue this trial. I hope that both of you know lying in not taken lightly."

Everyone nodded their heads.

"Now time for the opposing side to present their evidence before me." The judge announced.

The client walked towards the judge and gave him a list that he "requested" Kaveh to use.

"This is the list of flowers I gave to Kaveh. Where he agreed to use them without arguing."

The judge looked at them, signaling for the next piece of evidence.

Cyno walked towards the judge with the voice recording.

"This is the voice recording of the talk I had with the client about this situation with a lie detector."

Cyno played the voice recording for the judge. The judge only nods his head as he listens to the voice recording.

"Before I make my final decision, does the opposing side have any other evidence to present before me?"

The client gave no answer as he knew there would be no point in lying anymore.

"If there is no more evidence, then I shall announce my final decision. I declare the client guilty, I also declare Kaveh not guilty."

The guards took the client into a prison cell where he would await his sentencing.
