Temporary Enemy

A childhood dream

THIRD PERSON POV:

Not long after Alhaitham saw Tighnari and Cyno on the couch sleeping and cuddling, he went back into his room and went to sleep. A began to dream of something that happened long ago.

"Kaveh." Alhaitham said in excitement to see his best friend.

"Huh? Oh, it's you." Kaveh yelled in excitement to see Alhaitham after school.

"Don't yell."

"Oh, right. Im sorry." Kaveh said while fiddling with his fingers.

"It's okay, kaveh."

"Want to go to the park?" Kaveh asked.

"Yea, sure." Alhaitham answered cause he needed to be outside a little more according to his mother.

As they walked to the park, Alhaitham wanted to talk to him to make the conversation less awkward between them.

"Hey Kaveh. What do you want to be when we go to the akademiya as adults?"

"An architect when I grow up. What about you?"

"Uhhhh.... I don't know yet."

"It's okay. You have a good bit of time before you can choose." Kaveh said, reassuring Alhaitham.

They got to the park, but Alhaitham chose to stay in the shade, but kaveh wanted him to play on the swings with him.

"Alhaitham. Why don't you play on the swings with me?"

"Because I like the shade, and plus, I brought a puzzle so I don't get bored."

"Can I do it with you?" Kaveh asked

"Sure."

While playing with kaveh, he looked at him and mumbled to himself.

"I want to protect you at all costs."

"Huh?" Kaveh asked because he barely heard Alhaitham.

"Don't worry about it." Alhaitham said.

"Okay, if you say so." Kaveh, while rolling his eye.

Upon seeing this sight of kaveh, it made Alhaitham laugh.

"Hey! it's not funny."

"To you, it isn't. But to me, it is."

"Whatever."

"Alhaitham! It's time to come home, sweetie!" His mother yelled from the house which was right down the street.

"Oh. I have to go home now laveh here you can have it." Alhaitham said as he got up.

"Thank you. Bye-bye, haitham." That was one of the nicknames that Kaveh gave him.

Little did Kaveh know that would be the last time he ever saw Alhaitham.
