The baby wiggles in her mother's arms while the woman becomes weaker. Finally her arms give out and the doctor takes the child from her mothers failing arms. The doctor swaddles the newborn tightly. Just enough to feel comfort. The doctor rushes out of the medical room and into the throne room.

"Your majesty, the child has been born yet her mother didn't make it. You know who the father is, yes?"

The young doctor says quite softly. While waiting for the ghostly being to answer her question, she shifted the weight of the young child onto her right hip. While keeping her brunette hair away from the grabby hands that belonged to the child.

"I know of the child's father, yes. He is not a good man who will stop at nothing to have someone of her strength on his side. Send her to Middle Earth. It may be her only hope."

He says with his eyes closed. The doctor's eyes widened.

"Her father is there. That is just putting her in danger! Where does that make-"

She was cut off when the ghostly man held up his pale, scabbed hand into the air.

"I know what I am doing. Do you doubt me? This child is of the valar. Yet she is higher above me, I do not know what that means. I am higher than that beast. I know what goes through the heads of people like him."

"As you wish my king. What can we expect of this child?"

"Unspeakable power, strength, and compassion. Along with other things a great warrior needs. She will be a skin-changer like her mother, I believe but with more than one form. I'm not sure what else to expect. She will no doubt be stronger than me."

The doctor nods and takes the child away, moving away from the throne.

"One last thing. Leave her alone. The separation from man will be good to her emotionally. We can not have her grow up to be foolish and unkind."

The man on the throne says with great dismay.

"You want me to isolate her from mankind?!"

"Yes. Hobbits are all right, some elves as well but not man, nor dwarf."

The woman nods solemnly and finally exits with the sleeping babe in her warm embrace. Tears stream down her face and she quietly says goodbye to the child she has grown fond of.

"May the Eru bless you with a long, healthy life young one. I will miss you just as I will miss your mother. I have nothing for you to remember her by. Goodbye sweet niece. I love you."

The child slowly begins to disappear as the magic takes course and sends her to middle earth. Her aunt sobs as she sinks to her knees, crying over the loss of both her sister and niece.

She returns to Eru with red, puffy, blood shot eyes and bows.

"It is done."

Eru nods and smiles, softly and begins a question.

"What was the breed of her mother? Elf, dragon, skin changer?"

The doctor shakes her head and speaks lowly.

"No she was a mix. Elf and skin-changer. She was born with a defect though. The child. I could see in her face when her eyes were open, I could see them changing, animal, color everything."

"I see. Thank you. What, may I ask is this deformity?"

"She can shift into multiple creatures. But she can have any attribute of any creature if she wishes. It will be difficult for her to master her skill but she can. It is as you said. She will be powerful."

Eru nods his head and waves me off. I go back to my chambers and fall into my large bed and weep.
