Elrond's POV:

The next few years were tiring. The child was immortal, as was I, but did not mature as quickly. By the time I had reached the age of full maturity she was still learning to crawl. The descent from the Valar made her older than me by a little more than 50 years.

As she grew older, and learned to speak, walk, and sprint she grew more confident. I was nervous about her growing so I created a kingdom of sorts for her to grow up in.

Several of my guards followed us and I soon became Lord Elrond of Rivendell. She was, Lady Koroanebony. Most just called her Koro.

When she was the human equivalent of 5 (450) I began teaching her the art of wielding a weapon. We worked tirelessly for days on end and she never gave up.

She was a natural with almost everything I put in her grasp. We still had much to improve on though.

Four weeks passed and she was excelling tremendously in fencing or anything with a sword. For only being young she was great at everything she did. Swords, easy. Bow, easy. Knife, easy. Ax, (though not my favorite) easy.

Anything you put into her tiny hands she could use. When she got older and stronger she would be able to defeat anything that crossed paths with her.

Koro's POV:

Everything was a blur. I was constantly outside training with adar. I often went inside hungry, tired, and breathless. When I did get breaks they would be for one to two hours to go to a tutor so I would learn elvish.

I looked normal. I guess. Not really. I had white hair, and I had heterochromia with my left eye, black around the edge, red in the middle, with a black snake slit in the middle. The right eye- was the opposite. Red rim, black pupil, red slit.

I often wore a bandanna or something to cover my unnatural eyes

I often wore a bandanna or something to cover my unnatural eyes. I had fangs. Long canines that were just barely short enough, as to not poke through my lips.

Me and Elrond were sparring and I fell onto my small butt but I still pushed on and clambered up to my stick legs.

"Keep light on your feet and make sure you keep your eye on the opponent at all times unless you know he's dead or he is unconscious."

I nod my head and wipe the sweat off of my forehead before picking up my miniature sword and begin running towards my Adar (father). I side step just as he swings at me and I jump and flip onto his back, putting my blade against his slender throat.

"Very good Koro! You did excellent! You're learning very quickly and I'm very proud of you."

I smiled and jumped off of his back. With great difficulty I hand him my sword and flop onto the soft grass.

"I'm going to go take a nap Adar see you later. Lokaal hi (love you)."

Elrond looks at me with scared shock written all over his face.

"Where did you learn that, child?"

He questions, his voice shaking.

"I found some books in the library and they said they would teach me to speak Dovahzul. It is also called dragon's tongue."

He nods and shakes his head and goes off to his study.

I return to my room and pick up my sketchbook before deciding against drawing anything. I instead crawl over to my book of elvish. I was struggling so I resorted to an easier language for me.

I decided that the dragon tongue was easier for me than elvish. But I could absorb any and all information just by holding a book. Some called it dark magic. I just called it skill.

I pick up my elvish book and my eyes begin to glow. They glow white and nobody would ever know because of the secrecy amongst me and Elrond.

The glowing stops and I begin to speak. Attempting to speak this new language.

" Im iest na ped- edhelen but im gar- almost baw clue" (I wish to speak elvish but I have almost no clue.)

I smile to myself and at my accomplishment. I put the book back onto my bookshelf and crawled onto my extravagantly large bed before pulling the covers up to my neck and drifting off, dreaming of my stars.

Elrond's POV:

Dragon's tongue. An evil language spoken between dragons and other creatures. There was a prophecy of a shape-changer to defeat all evil but was of an evil heritage.

I knew she was the shape-shifter but she was so young and I wasn't sure what to do, to teach her how to be good.

I let out a sigh and began writing a letter to Lady Galadriel, and then once more to Mithrandir.

I retrieved two birds, doves, and asked if they would deliver these letters. They each stuck out their legs and I held out the letter then tied a small string to each foot. Not too loose but not too tight.

They flew off and I sunk back into my chair before exhaling shortly.

30 minutes later I hear tiny footsteps against the cold, marble floor. Her head peeks through the door and I smile at my daughter as she yawns and opens her eyes, I never see.

"What do you need, young one?"

"Nothing, I just had a nightmare and it made me realize I haven't been completely honest with you."

I cock my eyebrow and turn towards her as she begins to speak softly.

"My eyes glow. I absorb knowledge faster than normal elves or people. I can speak with animals. Dragon tongue comes naturally. My features shift if I want them. I can shapeshift. And other things but those are some of the most important, I think."

I sit there and watch her with calculating eyes before laughing and gestures for her to follow me as I stand.

We walk out of the room and I guide her to the library to show her the tapestry she has no doubtedly seen thousands of times before.

"This is you. This tapestry explains you and your abilities."

There's a white haired elleth with an infinity sign above her head. Her eyes were closed. And she had a green glow surrounding her.

She had other hidden abilities. You could feel it. Shapeshifting, healing, knowledge absorption, telepathy, enhanced strength, speed, hearing, eyesight, speaking with animals, and immortality.

It sounds like a lot but It doesn't feel like it is really.

"That's me? She's amazing!"

I chuckle and take her hand in my larger one. As we walk back down the hall to my room I stop her and kneel down to her level.

"I will do my best to teach you all that I can."

She nods and I smile as she climbs into my lap and falls asleep. I chuckle and pick her up and turn towards my room.

I gently tapped my door open with my foot and set her on my bed, then tucked her in. I remove my cloak and am left in my sleeping tunic and pants.

I crawl into the bed next to her sleeping form, and curl around her in a protective manner before finally drifting off into dreamland.
