The Quiet Breakfast

The next day I woke up and I quickly realized I wasn't home. I jumped awake! Oh yeah I'm with Kaoru. Wait a minute! I'm a women and he's a man! What was Akiyoshi thinking! Then again there was budget cuts. I mean it could have been much worse, we could only have one bed. I walk out a Tuna dashes out meowing up a storm.

Reika: Quiet down Tuna! Kaoru might still be... Oh hello Kaoru! Good to see you up!

Kaoru: bath...

Reika: What?

Kaoru: I'm gonna get in the bath...

Reika: Oh okay! Why would I care!

He just walked to his room. I guess I should go get stuff for today! I mean it beats eating out! I think I might just do daily shopping because well we only have a mini fridge! I wrote Kaoru a note saying not to order anything and that I would be right back.

I got to the store and realized that they had a sale on eggs! Goody! Maybe we can have omelets for breakfast! I mean I don't if Kaoru likes omelets but I do! The ingredients are just goofy to me. I grab everything I needed. I also picked up something for lunch and some kind of Chinese food that I enjoyed plus it was on sale! I then looked over at the tuna fish section. Wait they are on sale too! I grabbed quite a lot! I then went to check out.

The walk back was just terrible! I had so many bags! They weren't light either! I mean they were heavy! I managed to get back to the room. I put down the bags and tried finding my key card. That's when the door opened. In front of me was Kaoru his hair still dripping. He looked so cute. If I had my camera and he wasn't looking at me, I would take a picture.

Kaoru: Next time take me with you...

Reika: What?

Kaoru: You shouldn't carry all that by yourself...

Kaoru didn't even hesitate to pick up the bags and bring them to the kitchen. I went to help him put the stuff away. I left out the stuff to make the omelettes. I started cooking right away. It didn't take long for me to make enough for me and Kaoru. I made toast with it. I set up our mini table. I bring out the food. I was going to call Kaoru but he seemed to busy play with Tama.

Tama was chasing his fingers. He kept teasing her. His face was nothing I ever seen before. I honestly like this side of him. He seemed like he was in another world. I had grabbed my camera and took a picture without Kaoru's permission or him even knowing. I honestly don't why. I didn't even notice Tuna was sleeping on the sofa right behind them. I put the camera in my room. I not gonna post it. Maybe of Tuna.

When I came back out he was still playing with Tama. I wonder if I should tell him breakfast was done. He looked so happy. Oh boy hear goes...

Reika: Kaoru I finished breakfast. Sorry to interrupt you!

He just got up and sat at the table. I don't know what to do? I guess I will eat too. So I went over and sat down next to him. He just ate and didn't say much of anything. I don't even know what he thinks of my cooking. Should I start up the conversation?

Reika: So...um...do...you...like it?

Kaoru: I'm eating it right...

Maybe he just doesn't want to talk. He finished his food and washed his plate. Bang! I turn to look. Kaoru might have banged his head. Ouch.

Kaoru: Ow...

Poor guy... I feel really bad. I kinda know what he feels like. I don't tend to look where I'm going and I run into something. I does hurt. He then went to his room with Tama. Tuna was still snuggling on the sofa. I finished eating all by myself. I realized just how lonely I feel. I hope things change.

Authors Note: A very busy day today! I did make it on time! For me anyway it's 11:38 pm! I live in EST zone! Anyway I had to upload this for you guys. I hope you enjoyed it. I'm off to bed goodnight or good morning which ever one works for you!
