Falls short of showing...
The feeling of knowing,

In the breaths you take,
Or the words you say,
You make me feel,
Like everythings ok.
If i could put it on paper,
It would be beautiful.
Words that could capture,
Everything that is you.
The way you love storms,
And you care for your dog.
In a way that i long for,
Like hearing your favorite song.
To me your very existence,
Breaths life and meaning.
Like in all the little things you do,
I can see your mom breathing through.
I find peace in just your touch,
Something so simple is more than enough,
Cause when i hear the rhythm of your heart,
I no longer feel my world falling apart.
If i could stay in a state,
Where everything felt fine,
I'd find that peace,
Wrapped in your arms.
I love you isn't quite good enough,
To tell you how I feel,
But hopefully its enough,
To show that im always here.
I hope that I,
Can bring you the same peace.
I'd like to make you happy,
The same way you do me.
I'm not sure you know,
Or how to explain,
How in love I feel,
When you speak my name.
But just know,
I'd do anything to see you smile.
To the most microscopic act,
To walking a mile.
If it could show you,
The meaning you bring,
I'd do it all,
I'd do everything...
