Wednesday's pov:

'Bag over my head for optimal disorientation, wrists tied tight enough to cut off circulation, and no idea if I'm going to live or die. It's definitely my kind of party.'

"Wednesday, don't be mad, but, I'm afraid of the dark. Especially when I can't move!"

I rolled my eyes as I heard her panic

Even though I am enjoying this situation, I couldn't help but feel a sort of concern knowing she's also experiencing it

Before I could respond to her, I hear a footstep, no, multiple footsteps move closer to us

"Who dares breach our inner sanctum?

'Great. How to ruin a moment.'

"You can take the mask off, Bianca."

She than proceeds to take it off

'And just like that, my hopes were dashed against the rocks of bitter disappointment. My foe was no psychotic killer. More like a bunch of high school clowns. Which, relieved me the knowledge that y/n was safe.'

"Wait, I preferred you with it on."

I heard the girl next to me chuckle, in which caused spiders to crawl in my stomach

"How did you get down here?"

I sighed

"Rowan showed me, Left pocket. I tracked the watermark to the Poe statue, then I solved the riddle."

The brightest of the bunch answered with a surprised tone, as if he was like a box of rocks

He didn't even know there was a riddle and than rambles on about parties and drinks

"Wow. Do you guys even have a bed time?"

I roll my eyes as Bianca speaks

"Question is, what are we gonna do with her? Only members are allowed in this library."

"I say we invite them to pledge. They are legacy."

I look at Xavier in a deadpan look, as if I would join this sorry excuse

"After the crap they pulled in the Poe Cup, there's no way in hell. We talk about not making waves? Their a tsunami."

I look towards Y/n and sneakily untie her ropes without them noticing

I already untied mine the moment the bag was off

"Just because we beat you at your own game? Let me save you the trouble. We're not interested in joining."

I stared straight at her with a blank face

"You're seriously turning us down?"

Before I could respond, the h/l haired girl next to me spoke in a sarcastic tone

"Can you believe it?"

When I felt myself unknowingly smile, I quickly looked down

'Seriously, who is this girl? Scared of the dark to making sarcastic comments. She is meant for me.'

"Untie them."

"We freed ourselves five minutes ago."

"But, I didn-"

I got out of the chair and gently pulled up Y/n by her hand, her face was in shock

I started leading the way towards the stairs, still holding on to her hand from knowing she's afraid of the dark

Before we fully left the library I look down at them

"It's amateurs like you who give kidnapping a bad name."

After we had left the area, I've insisted we walk a little slower to our dorm to get relaxed

I insisted it mostly for y/n because she was shaking

"So, how did you do that?"

I continue looking infront of me

"Do what?"

"You know, untie me? I didn't even feel you do it or anything!"

I lean in towards her ear and whisper in a deadpan voice with a straight face

"It's one of my many talents, are you impressed?"

I could tell she was flustered by my sudden question to her response

I smirk while heading towards the Door to our dorm

"Yes. I do believe I am impressed by your mysterious talent."

She smiles at me and chuckles, sending little shivers down my spine

"I'm glad."

After saying that I made my way to my bed, while getting ready to lay down

"Hey Wed?"

"Yes, Y/n?

"What do you think would've happened if it wasn't Bianca? Do you think we'd be.."

"No."

"Bu-"

"No, and here's why. Because I was there with you. If it wasn't who it was than we would have to find a place to bury a dead body."

In the side of my eye I could see a slight smile spread across her face

"Now go to sleep, after the night you've had, you could use it."

She crawls onto the right side of the bed and closes her eyes

"Goonight Wednesday."

"As well as you, Y/n."
