Wednesday's pov:

'There were so many threads to my investigation, I could weave a burial shroud. I still have no idea how Rowan mysteriously rose from the dead. Or why that monster is prowling the woods. But right now, nothing intrigues me more than y/n.'

I got interrupted from my thoughts about the person I was just thinking of, Y/n

"Aw man, I got Pilgrim world. Just my luck, like I wanna be stuck with those jerks that work here, What did you get Wednesday? "

I looked down at the slip of paper I got handed from one of the volunteers

'Uriah's Heap'

I look back up towards Y/n as she waited in anticipation for my response

"I got Uriah's heap, whatever that is. "

She looked at me in slight empathy

"It's this weird, creepy antique store, but I think you'll love it! "

"I need to get into Pilgrim world though, but, thank you."

'I wanna stab my heart out."

I arched my eyebrow as I found Enid walking around with the other students

"Give me a minute."

I give her a slight smile and started making my way towards the wolf girl

"Oh, hey Wednesday, guess what I got! "

I roll my eyes in slight annoyance

"Pilgrim world! I'm crossing my claws Ajax and I will be outreaching together. "

I take a glance from behind the blonde girl to see y/n talking to Xavier.

Y/n's pov:

"Hey y/n"

I quickly tear my eyes off of Wednesday and focus on the tall man in front of me

"Oh, hey Xavier, Need something? "

He smiles at me and looks down

"Yea, I was wondering what you got put into, I got Pilgrim world"

He then chuckles while reaching for my card, but before I could pull it away he grabs it

"You also got Pilgrim world, nice."

"hey! I need that! "

I giggle while trying to reach for my card but failed due to the height comparison

He takes his other arm and pushes me against the wall, still holding onto the piece of paper, he grabbed my face gently

"X-Xavier, what are you doing? "

I let out a awkward chuckle because if how close he was to my face

I tried moving my head back but was blocked from the wall, he still continues to inch closer to my lips

Before he could even make contact, a voice spoke up from behind him

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, Xavier. "

Xavier then let out a small chuckle and moved back to turn around towards the black haired girl

"And why wouldn't I, Wednesday? You have something sadistic to say? "

She smiled, I couldn't help but shiver, it wasn't her usual smile she shows me

"No. Something way worse. You don't wanna push a serial killer, would you?"

Xavier rolled his eyes, handed me my paper and walked away with a slight sigh

"He was just messing around like normal"

I tried reassuring her although I could tell it wasn't working

She just looked at me blankly

"I got Pilgrim World."

The raven haired girl then walked away in a hurried manner

"Wed, wait, please."
