Y/n pov:

After Wednesday showed the 3 boys what death was like, she walked back over to me

"If anyone ever threatens to hurt you again, tell me. I'll make sure they won't even be able to speak when I'm done."

the black-haired girl spoke without hesitation, I sheepishly grin at the sudden seriousness in her voice

Unexpectedly, I heard the chime hanging off the café door making a bell noise, I look to see and realize it was the sheriff

"Dad!"

I look next to me to see the red-haired boy with his hands stiffly at his side

"Tyler, what the hell's going on in here?"

Before any of us could respond, principle Weems shows up close behind the sheriff causing a slight relief to spread through my body, slightly

"Apologies, Sheriff. This one slipped away from me. Come on, Miss Addams, time to go. You too y/n."

The tall assertive woman then began to walk away along with Wednesday and me not too far behind

"Wait a minute, hang on. You're an Addams? Don't tell me Gomez Addams is your father. That man belongs behind bars for murder.
Guessin' the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I'm gonna keep my eye on you."

The sheriff then began to glare at her, as if she did something wrong, I stepped in front of her, feeling uneasy about how close he was

"We'll be leaving now."

I turn my heel and start walking out the door while my hands were gently resting on the black-haired girl's shoulders, which made her tense up at first but soon relaxed

As we were riding in the car back to nevermore, I looked out the backseat window admiring the outside and enjoying the view

"Your first day and you're already on Sheriff Galpin's radar. Wish I could say I was surprised."

The tall blonde scoffed, I couldn't help but still feel a little bit agitated by what the sheriff had said about Wednesday

"What did he mean about my father?"

The pale skin-goth girl hurriedly spat out before the blonde could say anything else

"I have no idea, but a word of advice. Stop making enemies and start making a few friends."

The principal took a glance at her with a serious stare, the raven-haired girl, ignoring Weems annoyed face, turned around looking back at me

I get a stunning view of her dark brown orbs that almost looked as if they were completely black making me feel a sort of nauseous feeling

Wednesday was the one to break the eye contact

"Y/n's my friend."

she then titled her head as if she wasn't sure what a friend was, not caring I just smiled, happily knowing I meant somewhat something to her
