Over the bend, entirely bonkers
You like me best when I'm off my rocker
Tell you a secret, I'm not alarmed
So what if I'm crazy?
The best people are

As the morning light seeped through the window curtains, you found yourself still huddled in the bathroom, tears streaming down your face and heart pounding with all kinds of emotions. It had taken you some time to gather yourself, to steady your breathing and dry your eyes. You had needed that space, that quiet refuge, to come to terms with the overwhelming feelings that had consumed you.

Not that you felt much better now, but at least ready to get out of there. You finally rose to your feet and straightened your clothes, taking a deep breath and opening the bathroom door.

And when you did, Larry leaned against the opposite wall, arms crossed over his chest and an intense look in his eyes. His stare bore into you, silently demanding an explanation. You were a little upset at first, having taken this long to compose yourself just to walk straight into someone as soon as you left, then you were scared. Really, really scared. Because if he was there, then that could only mean you and Sal had done a poor job at keeping your noises down.

But at least it was Larry, the only person in the house who you trusted enough to talk to about anything, also one of the few who wouldn't give you hell for that. At least you hoped so.

You hesitated for a moment before asking the question that had been gnawing at your insides since you saw him there, "Did everyone hear?" The fear was palpable in your voice, as was the anxiety.

Larry shook his head, "Just me. Everyone else is too hammered, they're all passed out. I needed to take a piss and, well, talk about a surprise. Y/N, please," he sighed, disappointment etched into his features, "What are you and Sal doing to yourselves?"

You swallowed hard, the lump in your throat growing bigger as tears welled up in your eyes again,"I... I have no fucking idea," you admitted.

Larry's expression softened, "Honestly, at some point I really considered coming here and stopping you two. I thought you knew better than this, Y/N... James is right here, man. This is fucked up."

You knew he was right, but that didn't make it any easier to hear, "You think I don't know that?" you choked out, tears streaming down your face, "I can't stay away from him, Larry. I can't. And I'm not trying to blame him anymore for whatever happens between us, because I'm the one who chased after him today."

"Fuck..." Larry breathed out, clearly conflicted. He was upset, but you were still his best friend, "What the hell happened in there? He left here crying, went home and shit, didn't even want to look at me."

"We... tried something new, and it didn't turn out well."

"Oh-- you didn't try to peg him, did you?" Larry asked, a hint of amusement creeping into his voice.

You groaned, but couldn't help giggling, "Of course I didn't. I don't think he'd be into it."

"Then what?"

"Talk to him," you pleaded, looking at Larry with desperation in your eyes, "Please. Tell him I forgive him, ask him to come back."

But his frustration was growing, and you could see it in the way he was clenching his jaw, "What do you forgive him for, Y/N? I always respect your limits when you don't want to tell me stuff, but I need to know if he's hurt you. This is serious, Y/N, talk to me. Please."

And then, his gaze shifted downward, and he widened his eyes when he saw the marks on your neck, "Please, tell me he didn't..."

"Larry, I was into it, I promise--"
