The town of Phoenix Drop was running nicely. Guards were doing their job and the villagers were being treated right. The crops were doing well. Newly built buildings stood proudly. The sun beamed down at the workers as it slowly went down. Soon the beautiful stars would come out.

This made most of the workers to call it quits for the day. They all had homes to get to. All but one, one in a soft, black coat. It was unzipped, allowing the breeze to keep him cool as he continued to work. He swung the hammer to get the last nail of that area.

Aaron hopped off the roof of the house. Unknowingly, landing right next to a villager. The only one that could sneak up on him. "Aaron!" They beamed. Aaron grabbed his sword and turned to Y/n. Once he saw who it was, he put his sword away. "Told you not to do that." He said in his monotoned voice.

"Oh don't be such a downer." Y/n began as they grabbed his hand. "Come on! The party is starting!" Y/n tried to pull him but he didn't budge. "I gave work to do, Y/n." He said, looking at the incomplete house. "You always have work to do. Let loose, live a little!" Y/n complained, still attempting to pull him. "I am living a little." He looked at Y/n.

Y/n huffed and let go of him. They then walked off. Aaron sighed and went over to his tools. As he looked at the blue prints, he heard something behind him. He quickly turned around and saw Y/n carrying a huge log that needed to be chopped. Aaron quickly went over to them and took the log.

"What do you think you're doing?" He asked, putting the log where it needed to go. "Helping." Y/n crossed their arms. "Shouldn't you go to the party?" He questioned. Y/n shrugged and decided to do smaller things to help. "Well, if my favorite person isn't there and is instead working alone. I see no point in being there when I can be here helping." Y/n responded.

Aaron shook his head and went over to the blueprints again. He looked them over before grabbing some materials. He got up on top of the roof and began working. Y/n worked on something else, close by. They then noticed something that he had left behind. They grabbed it and went on top of the roof Aaron was on. They handed the item to him.

He looked at Y/n then the item. He looked at where he thought he had put it. Aaron didn't even realize he hadn't brought it. He looked back at the item and grabbed it. He looked at Y/n and gave a small nod as if to say thanks. Y/n gave a small smile back before they heard music playing. Y/n looked in the direction of all the lights, where the party was being held.

The music was loud, loud enough to be just barely heard where the two were. Lights lit up most of the village from how many there were. The lights lit up Y/n'd eyes. Aaron couldn't help but notice this. He looked at them and stared for a second. He then looked at the area where the party was being held. He could tell Y/n wanted to be there. Which confused him, why was Y/n still with him?

The masked man went back to work, causing the smitten helper to jump out of their thoughts. They jumped down, off the roof then walked over the blue prints of an almost done house. Y/n got to work.

The music went through many different songs. Then it finally landed on one. One that Aaron knew was Y/n's favorite. He stopped what he was doing and listened for a second. He then looked over at Y/n and saw them standing in the now finished house. There was a slight saddened look on their face. Aaron didn't like to see them like this.

A sigh came from the man as he jumped down. He began walking over to Y/n, as he did, he took off his bandana and hood. He stuffed his bandana into his pocket before grabbing Y/n's hand and pulling them close. Y/n was shocked for a second before smiling.

The two began to dance to the song. Both of them moving in rhythm. As if they have done this many times before. Though, Aaron wasn't a dancer unlike Y/n so this has never happened before. Y/n wanted to savor everything. Every touch, every move, every note, every breath. Aaron didn't mind as much as he thought he would. He knew he loved this person. Now he knew he'd do anything for them.

Y/n's clothes went out slightly as he spun them before pulling them close once more. Y/n placed a hand on Aaron's shoulder and the other on his cheek. After seeing Y/n so happy, Aaron couldn't help but smile a little as well. Soon enough, the two danced the night away. Both of them having fun. Sometimes one of them would mess up which would lead into a laughing fit which would lead into them falling sometimes.

By the time the sun came up, people had began to wake up. Aaron and Y/n were a different story. They had continued to dance, even after the party. The other people who came to work saw the two sleeping. Aaron and Y/n had their backs against one of the house's walls. Both of them against each other.
