A note fell out of Dante's locker when he opened it. He grew confused and caught it before it hit the floor. He unfolded the piece of paper and read the writing on it.

'I would do the thing of check yes or no if you like me but currently, you don't even know who I am. So this note is just a start of others! Once I'm ready to confront to you who I am. I'll give you a check yes or no note. So look out for that ^^'

Kids pushed past others as the halls were very crowded. Dante looked up from the note and tried to look past the kids but there were too many. It was hard to tell who was looking at him or who was looking past him. He gave a soft sigh with a small smile. He folded the note up and put it in his pocket. He grabbed what he needed and shut his locker then headed to class.

There sat Y/n, playing with their pencil. They sat at the same desk Dante did during the one class they had together. Dante sat down and sat his stuff down. He pulled out the note and pushed it to Y/n. "Found this in my locker. Have any idea of who wrote this?" Y/n looked down at it then him. They raised a brow and chuckled a bit. "You mean, from all your fangirls? No idea." They joked and he rolled his eyes playfully.

"I recognize this handwriting though. It's different but still the same. I'm not sure." He pulled the note back, analyzing it. "Seems like whoever it is knows you and you know them. So they must've changed their handwriting." Dante lent back, putting the note back in his pocket. "Probably."

Class started and the two got to work. Well, Y/n did, Dante was too distracted. So Y/n was prepared to tell him what happened after class. As they have done many times before.

Lunch came around and the duo sat together, with Travis and Aphmau. Y/n dug into their food as they listened to the conversation that was happening. "You've got a secret admirer!" Aphmau squealed. Travis chuckled, "Let's be honest here, it's Dante. Not that shocking. Many people have a crush on him." Aphmau huffed, "Let me have my moment!"

The two went on and on. Dante noticed Y/n wasn't talking and turned his attention to them. "Hey, are you okay?" He questioned and Y/n looked at him. "Hm? Oh yeah, why?" He shrugged. "You're just not saying anything." Y/n finished their food and pushed away their plate. "Neither are you." He gave a small chuckle. "Touche."

As the duo spoke to each other, Travis and Aphmau picked up on it. They looked at each other and smirked.

The notes kept coming, every Wednesday. Dante could never catch the person putting notes in his locker and none of his friends ever saw who it was. It was starting to make him slightly frustrated. He kept trying to figure out who it was. He was comparing the notes and even taking notes on the notes.

Y/n never saw him so determined to do anything in their life. And they have known Dante since they were kids. Currently, Y/n was in the hall, going to class. When they were stopped by Gene. He pulled them to the side of the hall. Y/n glances around nervously before looking at him. "Gene?"

"It's you, isn't it?" He questioned, his hands in his pockets while his shoulders were slumped. "What is me?" Y/n held onto their bag strap with both hands. Rocking on their feet, ready to walk again so they made it to class on time. "The admirer." Gene lent against the wall. "You have a crush on my brother." Y/n let go of their bag strap, letting it rest on their shoulder(s). They put their hands on a bit in defense. "What? No no- I mean, don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy but- but he's just my friend."
