Aaron and Y/n probably one of the most stable relationships. Though, it may not even seem like they were in one. It wasn't like they were together a lot. Neither of them really spoke. Hardly did either of them touch each other in anyway. No hugs, no pecks, not even holding hands. Though, anyone could see the love they had for each.

The both of them didn't need to touch or hang out often. Neither of them liked being touch much anyway. Not to mention how busy they normally were. The two didn't mind how things were going. Course when they were alone and they both had free time, they'd sometimes acted like a normal couple. Though that was rare.

Y/n knew everything about Aaron and Aaron knew everything about Y/n. They never hid a thing from each other. I mean, maybe there's some things that haven't been said but nothing important. Like, Aaron didn't know Y/n's favorite anime was an f/a. Y/n didn't know Aaron's favorite jewel was a ruby. But Y/n knew about Aaron's past. Aaron knew about Y/n's past as well.

Neither of them had good pasts so they promised each other to make the future different.

More houses were being built in Phoenix Drop. A few people were tasked to do this. Y/n and Aaron being a part of this group. The two worked together while everyone else did their own thing.

Y/n finished putting in some wood when they realized their hammer had slipped off the roof. Y/n gave a sharp whistle, getting Aaron's attention who was on the ground, looking at blue prints. Aaron looked up at his lover. Y/n pointed down at their hammer then positioned their hands as if they were ready to catch. Aaron caught on and walked over to grab the hammer. He carefully tossed it up to them. They smiled and caught it.

After hammering in the past bit of wood they had up there with them, Y/n stood up. They grabbed their shirt collar and moved it to cool themselves off. "Heads up!" Y/n called out as they tossed the hammer down, not wanting to fight with it when they got down. They felt uneasy when they didn't hear 'Thank you heads' in response from Aaron. Y/n looked at the ground and didn't see him. They raised a brow before going to the edge of the roof and getting down.

They looked around the housing area, not seeing him anyway. They spotted some of the other workers and went over to them. "Brendon! Cory! Have either of you seen Aaron?" They questioned. They knew Aaron wouldn't just disappear without telling them at least.

The boys looked at each other then Y/n. "No, sorry Y/n. We haven't seen him." Cory responded. Y/n huffed and turned away then walked away. When they got back to the house they were working on, they went for their hammer. Then, they noticed it was gone. Y/n assumed they must have thrown it somewhere else. It's not like they saw where it landed. As they looked for it, they felt a sharp pain on the side of their head.

The pain was so bad, they felt like they were going to die. Though of course, Y/n refused to die. This blow wasn't meant to kill them, just knock them out. Though Y/n didn't pass out. They turned around in anger, ready to fight whoever was behind them. But there stood Aaron. Something was off about him. He gave a dead stare, as if there was no life inside of him. He held the hammer tightly, it was still in the air, his arm up.

Aaron slowly moved his eyes to meet Y/n's. He lowered the hammer until his arm was beside him. Y/n felt something drip on their shoulder. Hesitantly, they raised their hand to put over where they got hit. Then they moved their hand in front of them. Blood covered their hand. It rolled down their head, down to their shoulder and passed their neck. Y/n balled their fist and looked at Aaron
