A puff of smoke was around Y/n, causing them to cough and wave their hand to try and rid of the smoke. Once it cleared, Y/n looked around. Immediately they noticed they were in a forest. Soon after they saw a wall. Y/n assumed they were teleported near one of these private neighborhoods. They walked over to the wall and began walking beside it to find the gate.

A hand was placed against the wall. It ran against it as Y/n walked. Small pieces of the wall fell off. They felt moss on a few parts. Some bricks were even loose but the wall clearly was still very sturdy.

Finally, they reached the gate and they moved in front of it. They were confused when they saw an old timey gate. "You! What is your business here?" Called a voice from beyond the gate. Y/n looked at him and saw it was a guard. The armor consisted of older metal and mostly chainmail. What you'd find close to the renaissance. Y/n assumed this was a place where live action roleplaying happened.

They never saw themselves doing something like this but since they were here, might as well. "I uh-" Y/n had to think of a line to come up with. They decided to shoot for the big guns for the fun of it. "I want to see the leader of this place!" They demanded. "What is your business with King Garte?" Asked another guard.

This made Y/n stop and really think. Wasn't that the name to Zane's father? It was such an uncommon name. They didn't expect to hear their boyfriend's father's name outside of talking about him.

"That information shall not be disclosed with you. Now take me to him." Y/n played along as a strong and menacing character. "Alright but he warned. He might not even be here." The gate began to open. Just enough for Y/n to get through. They went through and looked at the guards before they began walking. Y/n expected the guards to follow but they didn't.

The place was very well built Y/n realized. They expected a smaller area with cardboard or wood painted walls placed everywhere. Though there were actual buildings everywhere. It was huge. They immediately spotted the castle but they didn't know how to get there. Y/n began to wander around. They looked at different places as they did.

A stand caught their eye and they went to it. They began looking at the items with curiosity. It was so weird to them. Everything was so full. Didn't these things last for like two days? Why was this one so well put together? Y/n picked up something as they looked at it. They accidentally dropped it and it rolled a bit before Y/n stopped it with their foot. They picked it up again.

"They're stealing from me! Guards!" The merchant yelled. Different guards from before came running and apprehended Y/n. A gasp came from there as they didn't expect this. Let alone how much force was being put into this. "Wait! I wasn't! I just dropped it and-!" They tried to explain as they tried to pull away. "Save it thief." A guard growled.

They began dragging Y/n to the castle. Which is where they wanted to be but not under these circumstances. Y/n began to feel genuine fear. Things seemed so real. These guys must be really good actors. This larping was getting out of hand for them.

Y/n looked around the castle as they were brought in. The three went to the throne room where someone sat on the throne. Y/n looked at them and gasped.

"Zane!" A smile appeared on Y/n's face as they ripped away from the guards. They took a few steps forward. "Hey! I didn't expect to see you in a place like this! And here I thought I knew you." Y/n let out a chuckle. If you could see, the guards shared weird and confused glances. Zane sent a glare down to the unknown human in front of him.
