Luckily, things were great in Phoenix Drop. Sure, there were a few mishaps but nothing too big. Lady Aphmau took care of her village very well. She communicated with her guards well and was always well informed of what was going on. She always had plans on if something were to happen.

Travis has been in Phoenix Drop for a while now. And he enjoyed every moment of it. He was free from the demon warlock and lived peacefully. He even had his eyes on someone but he didn't know how to tell them. So he decided to wait a while before he did anything with his crush.

As he walked down one of the paths, he saw Katelyn. He quickly glanced around but was a little too late. "Oh, hey Travis." She greeted with a smile. Travis straightened up and gave a nervous smile. "Hey Katelyn! How- How are you?" He stuttered. "I'm doing well, how about you?" She motioned for him to follow as she continued to walk. He followed her without hesitation. "Um- I'm good. Thanks." He responded.

The two walked in comfortable silence until they made it to the wall. They got on top before leaning against it. Travis had his back against the wall while Katelyn had rested her arms on it. Travis' thoughts went crazy. Should he tell her now? Should he wait? What if she doesn't feel the same? No no, he has to do it now. Now or never.

"Katelyn?" He stared up at the sky, she turned her head to look at him. "Yeah?" He hesitated for a second, not knowing how to say it. "I..I like you Katelyn." He looks at her. "I like you a lot." Katelyn stared at him for a second. Not knowing how to respond at first. "Travis, I'm..I'm sorry but I don't feel the same. Look, you're a great guy and everything but I just don't see you that way."

Travis' heart shattered. It felt as though someone had stabbed him. He didn't know how to respond to that. He just looked away from her as he stood straight. He felt his breath grow slightly heavy before he turned around. "Travis-" before either of them could do anything, Dante came.

"Katelyn! Travis! We need to go, now!" Travis turned to Dante and gave a confused look. "Dante? What's going on?" He went over to his blue haired friend. "The village! It's on fire!" Katelyn took a step closer. "What!? How!?" She grabbed her weapons. "It's Zane!" Travis groaned. "Of course it's Zane!"

"Let's go!!" Dante got off the wall first, Travis and Katelyn followed. The guards and a few others got people out and made sure everyone was safe. A few others did their best to stop the fire.

Things were going well. How could things go so badly in only a few minutes? Travis didn't know what to do. He just did as told. Helping people get out safely and try and put out the fire. By the time the fire was completely out. Most of the village was burned. Travis' heart was broken and now he didn't have a home. Were things just turning against him? He didn't like it.

Everyone had to make due with what was standing places survived. Garroth, Laurance, Dante, Aaron, and Katelyn were tasked on cleaning up. Lucinda, Kawaii~Chan, Donna, and Kiki were tasked to help the injured people.

Travis needed some time alone. He talked to Aphmau about it and she allowed him. Travis left the walls and turned around to look at them. He had a bag slung over his shoulders. He didn't plan to be gone for long, just for a little while. Just to clear his mind. A sigh came from him as he began walking away again

The birds chirped as they flew through the sky. The wind went past their wings, allowing them to stay in the air. The clouds were white and small. Not many were in the sky. The sky was a beautiful light blue. Made Travis think of her. He looked down at the ground. The grass softly swayed in the wind. A few different wild flowers dotted everywhere.
