Idea: Y/n can produce fire, too much fire.

The skin on Y/n was burning and they felt it. Though, it didn't hurt them. The grass underneath them burned with every touch, seeing as they didn't wear shoes. Their legs moved fast as they ran as fast as they could. Their breath was uneven and heavy. Fear filled their eyes, the fear of hurting others with their power. They didn't mean to but they did.

Y/n was born in the nether. That was the only explanation that Y/n got when it came to their power. They didn't know their parents. Their parents left Y/n as soon as they could walk. They were found by an elder Shadow knight. She took care of Y/n. She quickly found out about Y/n's condition when she picked up Y/n.

The elder was burned and almost dropped Y/n but she managed to set them down before they were dropped. The elder was quick thinking and got Y/n some clothes that shadow knights would wear. She wrapped Y/n up and took them home. That's what they wore their hold life. Since it was the only thing that didn't burn.

Never did the elder make Y/n out to be a monster. Though, she did warn Y/n. They did not heed this warning. When Y/n got older, they left the nether for the first time. They were gone for a while as they explored.

Though, they went in the wrong area and they were caught. The ones who caught Y/n were very confused and frightened at the fact that they'd burn anything that touched them. When the guards who captured Y/n finally got them in a holding area. They took basically everything from Y/n. This concluded any extra clothing.

The bad thing was, the holding area was made of wood. When Y/n touched the wood with their feet, it began to burn. Not long after, a fire started. Y/n managed to run away before things got worse. Though, on their way out, they did accidentally burn some other people when they stumbled into them.

Now, Y/n was making their way back to the portal. They were tired of running, they wanted to stop but they couldn't. They were scared if they stayed still long enough, they fire they were already producing would just get worse.

The portal came into view. Y/n smiled at the sight but it immediately went away when they saw that the portal was broken. Finally, they reached the stone that the portal was near. Y/n slowed to a stop. A hand over their chest as they tried to catch their breath. They stared at their only way home. It was gone. They were stuck.

Rusling was heard close to them. Rusling of metal. Y/n turned around and saw more guards, they weren't the same guards as they saw before. In front of these guards stood a man. Y/n looked at this man and took a step back. The man looked Y/n up and down.

"You're small for a shadow knight." He thought out loud. Due to Y/n's clothes, he had assumed they were a shadow knight. "That's because I'm not one." Y/n's voice came out quieter than they wanted. "You're not? Then why are you dressed like that?" He questioned Y/n. "I don't have to tell you anything." A glare came from Y/n, they didn't trust him. They didn't trust anyone in this realm.

A chuckle came from the man. "No, you don't. But, if you tell me, I might be able to help you." He offered. Y/n thought for a moment, glancing him up and down. "What says I need your help?" They crossed their arms. The man hummed in response, as if the answer was obvious. "Well, seeing as you don't have any shoes, shows you probably don't even have a house." Y/n looked away.

For now, he was right and Y/n hated that fact. They knew they needed help but he couldn't help them anyway.

As Y/n was looking away, they noticed under them, the stone began to melt. Y/n's breath hitched as they took a few steps back. The man saw this and looked down. He noticed the melted stone and smirked under his mask. This was a very interesting outcome.
