Idea: Y/n and Garroth have been dating for quite a while. Though one day, things took a turn.

Y/n and Garroth have been dating for years now. When Garroth first showed up to Phoenix Drop, things went very well for the two. They hit it off almost immediately. Though it did take them a while to actually start dating. When they did, they were basically the perfect couple.

Garroth was very protective of Y/n. Though, Y/n was a guard so he would let Y/n fight their own battles when they wanted to. He'd only step in when they truly needed help or when they asked. He'd been there for them when they fought personal battles. And they were there for him when he had to fight his.

Y/n knew about Garroth's past. Y/n never once hesitated to help him keep his secret when Aphmau first showed up.

The two were almost always together. So it was clear to Zane that something was happening between them. When he came to marry Donna and Logan, he also wanted to take back Garroth. His excuse for 'If Garroth was dating someone, I think I'd see them together all the time' wasn't going to work. So when Aphmau asked about what if Garroth already had someone, Zane couldn't point fingers at Aphmau.

So he pointed them at Y/n.

He blamed Y/n for ruining the marriage between Garroth and the daughter of Scaleswind.

That's when the arguments started. Things haven't been the same between Garroth and Y/n since that incident. And everyone could see this.

We need a plan of action if we're going to beat Zane." Laurence began, the other guards agreed. Laurence stood at the side of the table, beside Y/n. Garroth was at the head of the tables beside Laurence and Brian. Dante stood across from Y/n as he stood beside Brian. Aphmau was at the other head of the table.

Garroth thought for a moment. "Laurence is right. First we need to reinforce the walls with some kind of projectile." With arms crossed, Y/n spoke up. "Instead of wasting time and materials, we should reach into the Phoenix Alliance and ask for help. Get some extra guards here. Be prepared for a fight rather than staying on offence." Their eyes were fixated on the table. Y/n didn't dare to look at anyone.

"We can't put the village people at risk-" Y/n interrupted Garroth. "Like we haven't already?" They looked at him. His helm covered his face so Y/n didn't have to look him in the eyes. "Our people are already in danger and in any case we will have to protect them." Y/n placed a hand on the table. Laurance, Dante, Brian, and Aphmau all shared worried glances.

"We can't expect our people to fight in war." Garroth defended. "Garroth. We have five guards. Six including mystery boy. That is hardly anything against thousands of guards that Zane has! We need all the help we can in this war. Our people aren't helpless. They can fight. I hate to put them on the line but it's what we have to do."

Slamming his fist against the table, Garroth continued to defend the people of Phoenix Drop. "We will not rely on the towns people. No matter how many guards Zane has, we will fight them all." Y/n balled their fist. "Are you trying to get us killed!?"

"Okay okay, you two need to calm down." Aphmau finally spoke up. "The two of you step out. The rest of us will continue this conversation then catch you up later." Y/n huffed and walked outside. Garroth gave a nod to his Lord and always walked outside.
