Chapter 10

Minho kept his promise. They ended up on the couch, watching some cartoons while eating some snacks, and the two of them felt perfectly comfortable around the other. But Minho left when he finished his snacks, letting Jisung have his much needed space.

As he arrived, Hyunjin was still up and he wasn't with Seungmin. He was watching some drama but was surprised to see that Minho was back.

"Hey Min" Hyunjin greeted "I saw you went back with Jisung" He said, trying to hide the fact that he was in shock with this information.

"Yeah, he asked" Minho responded, his face serious.

"Really?" Hyunjin asked, this time not hiding his shock

"Yeah" Minho sat down on the armchair. He felt that Hyunjin had things to ask about his best friend.

"But... you two have been fucking still?"

"Yes, everytime we see each other basically" Minho explained as Hyunjin gagged.

"Wow, Jisung fucking someone repeatdly, that's odd"

"Why?"

"He usually has this stupid rule for himself to not sleep twice with the same guy"

"Why would he do that?"

"He thinks it's better for 'no strings attached' relationships" Hyunjin explained as Minho nodded, kinda confused.

"It's also odd that he lets you go to his own house, Jisung is making some changes in his rules apparently" Hyunjin added, somehow kinda making the hope grow in Minho.

"Maybe he just decided to stop worrying about stupid rules" Minho said, watching how Hyunjin's face changed a bit.

"Minho..."

"Hmm?"

"Do you perhaps like him?""

"I don't know him that well"

"But do you have some kind of feelings?"

"Why would you want to know?" Minho said, his face not that serious. He started frowning and Hyunjin understood that Minho may have something for his best friend.

"You can't" Hyunjin sternly said

"What do you mean?"

"Look Minho, I love Jisung with all my heart, but trust me, if you like him, you shouldn't fool around with him"

"That's stupid" Minho said as he stood up, ready to leave.

"No, I'm serious. You can love him, you can give him all the love in the world, he doesn't care, he won't take it Minho. He's strictly opposed to having any kind of love relationship, you can't win." Hyunjin explained as Minho left for his room and closed the door.

Hyunjin sat back down, sighing.

He was scared for his roommate.

It was obvious that the boy had feelings for Jisung, even if that was just a start.

He was scared that the boy might get hurt.

He knew what would happen. Even though Minho feels confident because Jiusng is bending his rules for him, he knows that someday Jisung would set his boundaries again, and Minho will be stuck. He really liked Minho, and didn't want him to go through that.

He also felt a bit concerned for Jisung.

If he was bending his rules, then maybe something was happening in his mind. But his mental state didn't seem to be better lately, so he couldn't understand.

He wasn't going to talk with the squirrel though, this is a risky move. One bad word and Jisung could cut Minho off his life like that.

In his room, Minho was turning in his bed, Hyunjin's words getting him.

He was in deep denial.

He knew he had some kind of attraction for the boy, and he did felt curious about him. But deep down, he knew it was far beyond curiosity, he felt something, he just didn't want to point out loud what he was actually feeling.

He was distracted by the lighting of his phone, a notification.
