They knocked at the door, waiting for Minho's parents to open it. Jisung was scared. He was hiding behind Minho, grabbing his shirt and not leaving it.
The door suddenly opened, revealing a woman in her 40', Jisung was amazed to see how much her features were the same as his son.
"Hi mom" Minho said, hugging her
"My child, look at you, you look so handsome" She exclaimed, giggling in happiness
"Mom, this is Jisung" Minho said, moving aside to let the boy show.
"Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Aeri" She said excitedly, giving her hand out for him to shake
"Nice to meet you..." He said, unsure, slowly shaking her hand.
"Come in boy, get comfortable" She said as she stepped aside to let them enter the house "Dinner still isn't ready and your dad haven't arrived yet, show Jisung your room then bring your asses back here to help me around"
"Come with me" Minho said, taking the boy's head and guiding him upstairs.
"She seems nice" Jisung said
"My mom is the sweetest, and so is my dad"
"I'll be fully honest, I'm terrified to meet your father" Jisung said, looking at the ground
"You don't have to, I promise he's a nice guy" Minho rassures as he took his hand "Let's go help my mother" He said, pulling him.
They joined Aeri, helping to prepare the table and Minho had been talking about how his dance classes were going, his mother fully interested in it. It seemed odd to Jisung, he didn't understand that she would care about his child doings.
"What do you do in life Jisung?" Aeri said, surprising him.
"I'm a producer and songwriter" He said in a breath
"Really? This is amazing! I always knew Minho had some kind of weak spot for artists" She teased, laughing at her own joke. Jisung widened his eyes.
"Mom!" Minho nagged
"Oh ... no ... we're not..." Jisung didn't know what to say, he was cringing hardly.
"Don't worry kid, I'm just joking around" She said as she nudged him lightly, making a small smile grow in Jisung's face
"Honey, I'm home!" His father said
"Over here!" Her mom called
"Oh, Minho, you brought a friend" He said, smiling nicely at Jisung.
"This is Jisung"
"Hello Jisung, Nice to meet you" He said, his eye smile showing sincerity.
But Jisung froze. He didn't know what to say, or how to react. What was he supposed to say? Hello? Would it be bad? Should have he bowed? He didn't... Is it bad?
"..."
"Ji?" Minho said, checking him worriedly
"..."
"Are you okay honey?" Aeri said, noticing how stiff the boy was
"I- I need... to use the bathroom, I'll come back" Jisung said as he ran out of the kitchen
"Is your friend okay?"
"He has some... traumas regarding his parents" Minho said, making gasps out of his parent's mouths
"What?"
"Poor kid"
"I'll go see him" He ran to the bathroom.
