The families are NOT related, the parents are bestfriends and business partners. The ages are what they start at in the first chapter. To make it easier on my readers, I added months and dates to the chapters so you have a better idea of the timing of the story. It will start at the beginning when Anna and Anthony are both newly 21. This story will take place over the course of 3 years and includes time skips. The first 10 chapters will have overlapping dialogue with My Safe Place, but the POVs will come from Anna and Anthony. I also made sure the timeline of their story matches the pace of My Safe Place. I also want to note that I did little to no mafia content, mostly focusing on their relationship.
