It was an unusual morning in the Xiao Mansion as the mansion which was usually silent was bustling with sound. Zhan as usual woke up at 6:00 am, after finishing his morning routine proceeded for his morning run. As he descended the mansion's stairs he was greeted by the servants who were busy with the decoration of the mansion. Zhan nodded at them and proceeds toward the door of the mansion, and after putting on his hood he just jogged toward the lawn of the mansion.

He came back at 7:00 am and after getting freshen up he proceeded to the dining table where he was greeted by his father, Mr. Xiao "Good Morning, my boy." "Good Morning, dad" greeted zhan with a smile and settled himself on the table. Mr. Xiao was radiating happiness today as it was the marriage of his only son plus today he was going to fulfill a promise he had done with his wife to take care of Yibo.
Zhan who saw his father's happiness was feeling a warmth spreading in his heart. He was happy that a single decision of his had made his father genuinely happy as it was after a long time he had seen his father smiling wholeheartedly. A peaceful silence was spreading between the father and son when suddenly Mr. Xiao spoke, "Zhan, Are you ready with your Wedding attire." Zhan who heard his father replied with a smile, "yes dad." Mr. Xiao smiled and ruffled his son's hair and spoke, "I didn't realize when my son became a grown-up man, who is getting married now. I still remember you as a small boy who used to hug my legs and demand chocolates." "Dad, I am still your small boy", said Zhan with a small smile. " But, you don't demand chocolates now." Said Mr. Xiao and after a pause, "Now you scare the hell out of people" continued with a laugh. Zhan who heard his father's words pouted but inside was smiling widely.
