The Xiao Mansion had been lively for many days and even to someone's amazement, the colorless and boring life of him as his father says has been lively since the dinner night with his husband.
Zhan who had always engrossed himself in his work now has started taking time from his work to come home early to have dinner with his family and maybe spend a little time with his husband though there are still days when he gets late due to his work and to his amazement he always finds the boy waiting for him to have dinner with him.
The first time when he saw Yibo waiting for him was one and a half weeks back when he was not able to find the boy in the room which made him scared so he immediately left the room to search for the boy, and after extensive searching when he founded the boy sleeping on the dining table, he instead of getting angry felt relieved. He slowly moved toward the boy to wake him up to just ask him what he was doing there and the answer that his little husband gave him made him smile widely and made him feel a warmth that had been lost after the death of his mother.
Zhan that day felt the care he had lost it's not that his father didn't love him it's just that this care of Yibo made him feel tingles in him which were new to him and made him happy in a way he can't describe and from that day Yibo had always waited for Zhan to have dinner with Zhan, and whenever the older is late Yibo always finds a way to skip dinner which at first Mr. Xiao founded normal but after some time he always found that the schedules of Zhan where he would get late and Yibo not wanting to have dinner coincided and as the thought clicked the elder he decided to check if his theory is correct or not, so Mr. Xiao decided to check his theory secretly.
The next time Yibo did the same tantrum at dinner Mr. Xiao just smiled and let his boy do what he want to do. After completing dinner they both went to their rooms and as usual, the sneaky lion cub after finding everything quite moved out of the room, to proceed to the dining room and settled on the dining table, unaware of the curious eyes watching him.
It was around 11:00 pm, Zhan came back to the mansion that day, and instead of going to his room, he moved to the dining room and as usual on finding Yibo waiting for him which bought a smile on his face and all his worries and tiredness of the day went away. Yibo seeing his husband beamed in excitement as he ran to the older and drags him to the dining table and Zhan seeing the excitement of Yibo just chuckled as he settled at the dining table. Yibo after serving Zhan started talking about his day like a child as Zhan listened with concentration occasionally giving a hum or a nod, a habit that they both developed unconsciously with the passing days and after Yibo completed his talk looked at Zhan for affirmation and the older just smiled as he ruffles the boy's hair affectionately. After completing the dinner they both moved toward their rooms leaving Mr. Xiao in the hall only who had been watching their interactions with curiosity same as the boys left, also left for his room with a smile on his face as his thoughts were,
